A list of puns related to "Interactive Theatre"
I wondered if any of you lovely people might know of or work in such a sector that would know this kind of thing. Ever since I went to 2.8 hours later (a zombie roleplay/scavenger hunt) at the Baltic market a good few years ago l have wanted to organise something myself, albeit much smaller. I have written out a full synopsis and I'm working on additional things that could go with the tickets, like a podcast and online ARG. A small venue would have to be acquired for the event which would have small groups going in at appointed times and experiencing a interactive theatre/escape room situation. I assume it won't be as simple as just renting a place for a month while it runs. There's gonna be permits and insurance etc and I have no idea where to start. Thank you!
I'm creating a piece of interactive online theatre this summer, and one of the elements will be where the audience gets to interact with a chatbot as a part of the narrative. They'll think they're talking to a character in the show, when in reality, it's the chatbot.
Do you know of any easy-to-set-up bots that could be used? Ideally, I'd love to find something that passes the Turing Test, that can have customized writing, and is cheap/free.
HO HO HO! Have you been a good person this year? (Kinda sorta is good enough for us!)
In exchange for this goodness, Rapid Fire Theatre is giving the gift of Interactive Santa! Spoiler alert: it's not the real Santa, it'll be Gordie Lucius in a Santa suit. Good enough for us, indeed! Join us live on YouTube from 10 am to 6 pm on Monday, December 21st, and YOU get to call the shots!
Do you want us to throw a pie in Santa's face? Make Santa do some push-ups? Have SantaΒ tell you that he's proud of you?... You got it!
And the best part, YOU get to play along!Β Each of these activities will have a price, and the deeper your pockets stretch, the wilder Santa will get! We'll also be taking your suggestions to help Santa Gordie keep his comedy fresh. So mark it in your calendar and join us on the 21st for this extra special live event! What else would you be doing?! All proceeds will go to support Rapid Fire Theatre and its performers. As a not for profit organization, we appreciate the support of our community to help keep theatre alive in Edmonton during this heckin pandemic.

I'm looking for a full-length dinner theatre comedy (in the style of Fanny & Manny Tie the Knot and The Awesome 80's Prom). Lots of wacky characters, audience interaction/participation, and improv. All I can find are either Christian dinner theatres or murder mysteries.
Any suggestions?
TIA!
So, an AMA seems too formal...
So let's make this more intimate.
While I am still making horror movies... My passions have led me... elsewhere.
Growing up, I was a HUGE fan of Fincher's THE GAME. I always wanted to create that ... a real, living, breathing theatre where YOU, the ticketed audience were the star...
Well, 2016, we did just that with THE TENSION EXPERIENCE. If you are into escape rooms, horror movies, and all around mind fucker'y - - we made a world for you to come play in...
It's 2018, and we are BACK with THEATRE MACABRE. A two+ hour experience where YOU become the lead of your own narrative.
Once audiences step inside the doors of Theatre Macabre, theyβll find themselves in a fully-realized alternate reality. Across multiple floors, theaters, and nearly 20 different environments, they will encounter a world of sinister characters, each of them ready to talk, entertainβ¦ and terrify, if necessary. But what happens behind the scenes at Theatre Macabre can be even more disturbing than what happens on-stage, and as each audience member explores the world theyβll have the opportunity to unlock their own personalized, interactive storyline βΒ where their fate will be determined by their own choices and actions.
Simply watch a play⦠or help secret assassins. Track down hidden jewels⦠or extract a confession from those who have wronged you. Side with the hero⦠or betray them and watch them hang.
I'm here to talk about it, answer questions, or hell, talk horror movies!

I came up with this idea long time ago after playing Heavy Rain. I donβt know if this would work out but here it is.
A movie shot with different endings, dialogues ect just like heavy rain or Detroit: Become Human.
Audiences will be given a device where they can make important choices in the movie, choices with most votes wins and that scene would play. At the end of the movie they can see the results of what they have chosen and what ending they have got.
What's the name of that theatre where you can text on screen during the movie?
Sorry it's so vague. I can't remember the name of it, but I am pretty sure there were foxes in the game among other animals, and it started off in a theatre like you were sitting up in the chairs, looking down onto a stage with curtains on the side. I remember there being a meadow at one stage, and I am certain you clicked through text.
I almost get Little Red Riding Hood vibes when I think back to it.
I'd love to find out what game it was I played!
Hi, this is a quite unusual story behind creating interactive theatre performance with Java and VueJs with some pain behind that

Hi guys,
I thought this might be of interest to you.
I've just announced my first video game project - a story-driven mix of a top-down adventure game and an interactive novel that is HEAVILY inspired by my favorite classics of sci-fi literature, film and gaming, as well as the Twilight Zone-sque TV and radio mystery shows of my youth (hence the name of the game - The Sci-Fi Interactive Theatre).
Allow me a bit of copypasta from my own announcement, as there's no sense in rephrasing all that:
>"The game will be divided into five separate episodes, each telling a unique and self-contained tale, framed within the seasonβs all-encompassing meta-story.
>Each episode will follow the adventures and perils of a different protagonist, each one set in a separate universe (which might or might not be revisited in future games and/or comics), each one running independently of others, allowing you to buy the ones you liked, and torrent the ones you didn't.
>In the first episode β yet to be officially named β you wake up aboard a crashed vessel, following a botched kidnapping operation in the midst of a terrible war. Stranded on an uncharted planet and starving, with your missionβs target as your only companion, you will discover secrets old and new, as both the planetβs mysterious purpose and your long-forgotten past will steer you towards a shuddersome decision."
If it picks up and proves to be a cool idea - low-budget interactive stories calling out to sci-fi classics - I might go further into this, producing more "seasons" and bringing in some guest writers. Right now I'm looking for an audience (having some awesome people connected to it already thanks to my previous fan work), and will be soon supplying a playable demo, followed by a small Indiegogo campaign to fund the game's development.
I've already released the first screenshots (from the current build, no bullshots or mockups), available in this album:

... keep reading on reddit β‘The whole point of me being with friends is to be able to talk and interact with them about the activity I'm doing. I hate having to sit quietly and not being able to talk for 1.5-2+ hours. I'd rather play a sport, board, card or video game or do something else and be able to chat about the game and other things while playing it.
Hi, maybe here a lot of some technical details, but this is the story behind creating Interactive Theatre Performance with non linear storyline
