I use instaloader windows 10 version to dl photo from instagram want to know if someone know how to add automatically the profile name at file name downloaded ?
I use this command :
.\instaloader --login=MyAccName -- -CNFDQmXo--K

I have some saved posts I want to download on my personal account. I've seen people getting locked out and banned for using scrape tools so I'm wondering whether Instaloader is safe to use with the --login feature nowadays?

This is the third HK big name news org shutting down in the last few months. (We have a dozen more smaller news orgs shut down too.) We have an earlier warning this time but it’s not much.
They have articles, YouTube vids, Facebook live feeds and interactive database among other things. There are also some subscription only content. They will be sitting down in a few days. Any advice and/or effort backing up their data would be greatly appreciated.

I'm looking for a CLI tool to archive my own saved reddit posts as well as the posts of certain users. The functionality may should be similar to youtube-dl or instaloader.
Is there a tool like this existing?

I was drawn to cli for trivial reasons (to look like hacker) but after encountering instaloader ,yt-dlp and gallery-dl I fell in love with it, it is so powerful and convenient, I believe best way to learn cli is through using it for essential things. In that order suggest me cli programs (I dont know what I want but I want some utilities, like blocking /ect/hosts.) Thankyou very much in advance.

I don't want to step on anybody's toes here, but the amount of non-dad jokes here in this subreddit really annoys me. First of all, dad jokes CAN be NSFW, it clearly says so in the sub rules. Secondly, it doesn't automatically make it a dad joke if it's from a conversation between you and your child. Most importantly, the jokes that your CHILDREN tell YOU are not dad jokes. The point of a dad joke is that it's so cheesy only a dad who's trying to be funny would make such a joke. That's it. They are stupid plays on words, lame puns and so on. There has to be a clever pun or wordplay for it to be considered a dad joke.
Again, to all the fellow dads, I apologise if I'm sounding too harsh. But I just needed to get it off my chest.
I have a folder on my Desktop in this example called 'Output'. I guess I need to do something with --dirname-pattern, but the documentation isn't saying much for this. I tried
instaloader account --dirname-pattern=C:\Users\Desktop\Output
but it only downloads the profile picture, the .json for it the and id, the rest go to the standart-output
I don’t know if I’m blind, but I just can’t seem to find out how to download or get the image URL of a post using its ID. I’m new to instaloader so excuse me!

For context I'm a Refuse Driver (Garbage man) & today I was on food waste. After I'd tipped I was checking the wagon for any defects when I spotted a lone pea balanced on the lifts.
