Kennedy Nzechukwu (+120) (9-1-0, 3 FWS) v Da Un Jung (-140) (14-2-1, NS) - This is a fun match to begin this card. Nzechukwu is very well known for his fast hands and nearly endless strikes once he finds his opponent is hurt, heβs excellent at chasing that finish on the feet and his long reach allows him to snipe his opponents from the outside, however itβs quite evident that heβs not that great in the grappling department. Marques managed to control him for the large majority of the fight, Nzechukwu made small mistakes which no doubt would be fixed over time in this camp, but theyβre mistakes nonetheless and it gives his opponent in Jung an opening on how to handle Nzechukwu. Jung On the other hand is a very adaptable fighter, he learns about his opponent extensively before the fight happens, the game plan is initiated very well, much like his fight against Knight, in which Jung landed some gorgeous takedowns over and over again without Knight changing and recognising the faults. This could potentially be the same gameplan coming into this fight against the tall boxer in Nzechukwu, take him down and just drown him in pressure. Jung is traditionally a striker but he does tend to leave his chin in the air and mostly just block with his hands, which is great and all, but all it takes is a few clean shots from different angles and those blocks become wholly insufficient. Itβs a very hard one to call because I can see this going both ways, but it really depends on how much Nzechukwu has improved, and what Jungs game plan is. I feel like Jung could win this one, his ability to adapt and adjust to his opponents skillset is exceptional, he just needs to be wary of the volume of Nzechukwu.

Summary of argument advanced by plantiffs (though a dramatic over simplification): State Legislatures awarding all of their Presidential Electors to a single candidate (based on that State's popular vote) is a violation of One Person, One Vote as well as an infringement various other statutory and constitutional provisions (because, among other issues, the system generates dramatic inequities between voters across states - e.g. a Wyoming vote has a weight of ~3.8 compared to a California vote weight of 1.0 based on the 2020 census and House apportionment).
Four lower courts ruled against plaintiff, SCOTUS denied cert petition.

Another top dog upset by Asal lol. 3-0ing Rodriguez 11-4, 11-9, 11-6 after that 90 min match against Coll is pretty impressive.
My money's still on Farag but could Asal be his biggest threat?
Has anyone else noticed how broken the PSA website is today as well?
Hello!
I hope everyone is having a great week!
I'm going to be brutally honest here, this card was rather... boring to write about, there's a lot of fights that are fairly close on paper, and as you'll soon notice, this prediction post is shorter than usual, mostly because its 10 fights with some close fights.
You will also notice that there's not a whole lot of gifs in this prediction post. That's partially due to the fact that there's not a whole lot to show for some of these fighters.
Anyway, onto the predictions!

Charles Ontiveros (+240) (11-7-0, NS) v Steve Garcia (-305) (11-4-0, NS) - A rather interesting fight to open up the prelims. Ontiveros is coming off a somewhat devastating KO loss against Kevin Holland in which there was a potential neck injury coming off a slam. Ontiveros was being outplayed and outdone by Holland for most of the fight, but since moving down to Lightweight, heβs bringing his taller and longer frame with him. Ontiveros is great at being unpredictable, his long, light stance allows him to unpredictably explode and throw unorthodox techniques that look clumsy, but pack a punch. Ontiveros is still a bit of a mystery to me, since heβs dropping down not one, but 3 weight classes (from Middleweight, to Lightweight) so I do wonder how his cardio will hold up since I feel like Lightweight might be too small for him. His biggest weakness that I can see is his wrestling, he got taken down and controlled for the majority of the fight by Holland, but he could have fixed that by now. Garcia is coming off a rather difficult fight against Pena, who whilst isnβt the best fighter in the division, still caused Garcia some trouble in the grappling department. Garcia is an excellent boxer, heβs got sharp hands and has a whole bunch of knockouts to his name, but he is at a fairly chunky reach disadvantage, so I suspect that heβs going to be looking to close the distance with feints, maybe push Ontiveros up against the cage as he pushes forward, and maybe eventually get a takedown. Itβs a tough fight to call, but I think Garcia is the more cleaner striker here, but Ontiveros is such a dynamic and explosive striker, it makes me wonder how this fight will go.
Garcia via KO R3 - (1/3)
