If It Isn't Love Puns

What do you guys think of it. I'm not a boxer but am gonna join boxing very soon. I personally love boxing and I think it's the best. But you experienced boxers know better. Is what they say correct? Is there no way a pure boxer can defeat a pure judoka?

I think they've done a good job. Not everyone thinks so but I do.

Crit isn't utterly broken anymore where it allows AD carries to 4 shot squishies with two items; and is more strongly incentivized to be built later.

Double zeal item is heavily discouraged; now AD carries choose their best/favorite zeal option instead of being forced to choose the least bad two.

And thanks to all the changes 8.11 introduced, legitimate build variety is finally a thing for AD carries. And I love it.

EDIT: A lot of people are bringing up the argument that this patch is unhealthy and blatantly favors non-crit ADs.

To argue against that stance I'll just repost here a reply I made to someone:

I don't know if it would even be possible to use the tip cards this way. But my thought was to load them with a penny and then have them be used as a coupon by customers to get a certain percentage discount. This would make it so that the coupon wouldn't be copy-able and people would be introduced to BCH.

I was always taught that the meaning of love was giving, sacrifice, putting others before and above me. As I read the book, my world view is being shaken and overturned. Now I wonder what does it really mean to love? Is it a choice and actionable? Is it not a conscious effort? Or is it simply kindness with no conditions?

Many people say love requires effort and relationships must be maintained. The 5 Love Languages tells us that we have to learn how to communicate love in a manner that the other person can receive. All conscious efforts to make the person feel that we love them. But this is in conflict with No More Mr Nice Guy, which talks about putting yourself first and not trying to please others.

As a nice guy, all I wanted to do was make others feel loved and hopefully they would love me back. Now that I know this is unhealthy, it is off of the table. But what is the alternative? How does one go about loving someone without doing things for them, without trying to make them happy? Is it about doing things that would make both of us happy? I'm confused, any suggestions would help. Thanks.

My wife has been my absolute best friend since the day we met. We were together for 3 years before we got married, and then had a child (who is almost 4) two years into marriage. Up until this point things have been happy and healthy as far as I can tell.

Two years ago she decided she was going to start her own business doing something that she loves. When she decides to do something she fucking DOES IT. Like 100% or nothing. Up to the point where our daughter was born I was her entire world. Obviously since then her attention (and mine) have gotten more spread out, but when she started planning this business it was like POOF she was gone. Every day was the same...she would wake up and leave before we got up, and she would get in the bed and want quiet as soon as she got home. I understand that starting a business takes a lot, but that didn't stop it from hurting. I tried to be supportive, but eventually I got pretty depressed. Like actual depression, not just sad or lonely. I tried to keep it inside as to not stress her out, but eventually the anxiety and irrational thinking made its way to the surface.

Around the time she was opening I accused her of cheating on me with one of her employees. It was stupid, I was wrong, but to me it was real. This was the start of bad times. I sank deep into depression. We fought a lot in the first few months. I told her I hated the business for what it had done to us. That was stupid. I was mad, sad, irrational, unable to control my thoughts and I didn't get help because I didn't see it. We had a major argument and I spent a few days with my parents. Afterwards things seemed ok and i told her i would never accuse her of cheating again and i havent, but the depression was still there.

I was so negative all the time. I complained about EVERYTHING. To make things worse, we were struggling financially. The business was doing fine and making money, but our income was significantly less and to make things worse we had expensive problem after expensive problem at home. Freak things...pool repair...new engine in car...new water well. She was really stressing and I was not much help. My depression went on for the duration of 2018 and it took a serious toll on her.

I have finally come out of it and feel normal again. I starting fixing things around the house that have been broken for months, going to the gym almost every day, I took a second job to help ease her mind and give us some breathing room with the bills. I feel li

Like if MLK decided to tell his supporters to fight back it wouldn’t suddenly make him evil. It’s great that he didn’t and it worked for that movement but fighting oppression with peace doesn’t always work and I don’t exactly mourn the oppressors facing violence to the group that they oppressed

I don't actually have anything against dating religious people, and am comfortable dating them. But when they throw it in your face right off the bat it's an immediate turn-off because to me it indicates their attitude towards religion. Today though as I did my mid-morning-toilet-and-swipe session I was amazed and appalled at this particular profile, as it seemed to me to be as unchristian an attitude about "non-believers" as you can have. Imagine, a world where not loving a made-up entity automatically precludes you from getting to know someone, let alone having a relationship with them. Didn't Jesus eat dinner with the sinners?
