A list of puns related to "Ian James Corlett"
I mean for a Vancouver VA that worked with a couple DC properties before, it would be pretty fantastic if it happened. His voice would fit the design perfectly well.
So about a year ago I met Ian James Corlett (the voice of Bob in season 3 and from what I will be his voice in Guardian Code). I met him at Everfree Northwest (he's done side voices for MLP FIM, yes I'm a Brony).
Anyways, during the Q&A session I went up the mic to ask him a question. It went like this.
Me: "This question is for Ian and it involves ReBoot, we all know that the late Tony Jay was the voice of Megabyte on that show. What was he like and what was it like working with him?"
Ian: winces hard "I actually never worked alongside Tony Jay. He always recorded his lines separate from everyone else. Sorry about that"
Other VA who was there (forget her name): "You know you have a really deep voice, you should voice Megabyte"
Me: "Thanks"
Bond's breakfast of 3 scrambled egg, bacon, and coffee is champion.
Hearing Bond complain about how cheap American diners prepare their eggs in Live and Let Die is hilarious.
Why are my favorite parts of 007 novels the sections where Bond orders food?
Hi all,
So basically for Valentineβs I was hoping to get my partner a James Bond book. The problem Iβm coming into though is that the only films he likes are the Daniel Craig ones.
I have been able figure out the order in which he likes them (best to worst):
Skyfall
Spectre
Casino royale
Quantum of solace
No time to die
Based on this list is there a particular book youβd recommend? Currently Iβm leaning towards Casino Royale, since thatβs the only one that Daniel Craig acted for. But, I wanted to see if people suggested different, as films and books are a completely different experience. Thank you so much for any help.
This just makes me wonder a lot about how intelligent Frank really was and all the potential that was squandered when he took up drugs and alcohol. Ulysses is famous for how rigorous it is. I have read it and had a very tough time. I probably only understand 20% of it. I also wonder what that book means for Frankβs characterization. The heroβs journey and all. Any other cool literary references yaβll remember from the show?
In Ian Fleming's James Bond 'Moonraker' (1955), when James Bond is about to shave twice in one day in the evening before a night out at blades, the narrator says:
Before leaving the bathroom he examined his face in the glass and decided that he had no intention of sacrificing a lifetime prejudice by shaving twice in one day.
For the life of me I can't work out what this sentence means. What did Fleming mean by this line? Did he shave? Did he not shave?
My interpretation: he couldn't be bothered to shave a second time so he didn't bother.
I think the idea of having a completely dull main character is interesting! And challenging to do well.
Looking for recommendations for a book where the character is basically just there. Someone completely boring and ordinary to whom things just seem to happen.
