I even tried 4320 x 2160. Why? Because I couldnβt believe that I was not seeing a quantum leap in resolution over the Rift S. I was expecting everything to pop out at me with the Reverb after all the specs and Hype....especially the text in the cockpit and for that reason I used the gorgeous Aerobask Diamond DA-62 for X-plane 11 , which has teeny tiny text in the cockpit switches, as a βresolution stress testβ.
Bummer...Iβm sorry....as shit.... because my gut feeling is to send the fucking thing back this afternoon, And a start a class action suit for false advertisingβ¦when my pre-frontal cortex is sayingβ¦ βHold on a second Chassss...get some sort of confirmation that what youβre saying is not atypical.β
Yes, I know that my GTX 1080 is going to have big, if not insurmountable problems with all graphic sliders maxed...so I started...(after the jittery-At-Max-slide-show...had to try it...) with all sliders MINIMIZED...then bumped up til LilBlueDonuts was showing me 20 FPS
...I expected that... (I plan to upgrade to an eBay 1080TI)
My experience was a livable but washed out flight out over Orbxβs TrueEarth Great Britain North, northbound out of Glasgow...weather set to CAVOK....it was ...bearable, IF...and ONLY IF I got the resolution touted...and none of the flashes and black screen interruptions seen by others.
Nope! flashes and black screen interruptions...abounded.
So what is the deal with the perceived resolution being so low?...glasses? What kind glasses Would you use in a VR HMD? Iβm thinking, reading glasses, which I use, but have never needed with a ANY VR headset. Same view/perceived resolution, reading glasses on,or off. AM I CRAZY?
Guys...Gals...Please tell me Iβm doing something stupidly wrongβ¦ Please show me the error of my waysβ¦ Because the resolution numbers may be the resolution , but my Mark 1946 eyeballs, are telling me...bullshit.
Below are trouble shooting notes on my MSI Z170 Gaming M5 mobo/I7-6700K/GTX 1080...prior to getting the Reverb to work al all, much less with X-Plane.
Calling HP Techsupport 800-474-6836 MAHESH, lost call, call#2-Jack -Cust support->calling Reverb Tech support took myNum-gave him 606-627-0742 22:55 8-1-19 1.PC will not boot with Reverb plugged in. 2. Valve SteamVR Does NOT recognize the HMD. Stream error 108
Disconnected Display port, warm re-boot, Posted to Win10, Connected DP-warm boot, NoBoot Moved

Many people ask me how to raise there elo and I think the best advice I can give is learn a few champions forward and backward how do you chose which champion? well they need to be able to 1. not be banned/picked all the time(listen you can spend a month learning how to play thresh but hes going to be banned or picked almost everygame so you will rarely be able to play him in solo queue) 2. be able to play more than 1 role (its better to learn a champion that can play lots of roles so if your last pick even if you dont get the role you main you atleast still get to play the champion you main) 3. be able to hard carry ( we are talking about soloqueue here the land of the lost so if you can win lane but not dominate the game after that keep looking because that might work in ranked 5's but in solo queue it just wont cut it) lastly a champion that you can 1st pick and not be overly afraid of getting countered ex malph hes really strong counter to alot of champions but you cant fp him or they will just pick rumble and hard counter you. The champion I chose to learn was kayle she fills all these requirements + is very simply to learn and play perfect for me and even tho riot just recently nerfed her (horribly might I add only ap kayle was op but instead of specifically nefing that they did an overall nerf which made ad kayle a cripple but left ap kayle still powerful then they buff one of ap kayles core items and made nashors tooth op) all that really did is see her rate of play/ban decline so now I can get her every game thx riot. Anyways there is the best piece of advice I can give you for raising your elo in solo queue thats not mechanic related and here's my kayle guide if you want to learn her and get free elo http://www.lolking.net/guides/159203
Been playing PokΓ©mon most of my life and I've watched a ton of Nuzlockes from content creators. I've attempted them in the past, but then a PokΓ©mon I really liked would die and then I'd change my mind on the fly.
For BDSP's launch, I decided I really wanted to commit to a nuzlocke for my first playthrough of BD and it fixed so many of the problems I see complained about the modern games when it comes to difficulty.
For the handful of people that don't know, the main three rules I typically see for a nuzlocke are as follows:
-You can only catch the first PokΓ©mon encountered on a route (Unless its a duplicate or within the same evolution line of a PokΓ©mon you already have ooor if it's a shiny) -You must name every PokΓ©mon you catch in order to build an attachment to them. -If a PokΓ©mon faints, it is considered dead and must be permanently boxed or released.
For added difficulty I applied the following rules: -Battles must be set to "set" as opposed "shift" -You are not allowed to heal during battle
With those rules set, the game became much more intense and emotional. The amount of times I held my head in despair watching a PokΓ©mon's HP dropped to zero really reminded me how strategic I had to be in battles and I could no longer just be in the same "Click pyroball" mode that I was in for SwSh.
Now there were times that I did catch other pokemon, but they were not used. I mostly caught ones that had low encounter rates as I knew I would want to come back for them to complete my dex after I beat the E4. But they were immediately boxed and I don't feel they affected the game at all.
I lost a ton of incredible pokemon along my journey, like Mage the Modest Kadabra, Colossus the Jolly Gyarados and the one that nearly made me quit the locke, Gohan my starter Infernape. But it forced me to use whatever PokΓ©mon I could and maybe even some that I would have never used before.
Yes, there were forced mechanics that made things easier like the EXP share and the cheap affection mechanics, but you know what? The game still found ways to kick my ass and that ass kickers name was Skuntank. A combination of poison and aftermath killed one of my best mons. "Lost a mon pretty late game, guess I'll have to train another one in the underground. Look! A fully evolved skuntank. That'll be worth a lot of EXP" Did you know skuntank learned explosion? I sure didn't and neither did another of my best mons as it laid motionless on the ground."
Even wi

Pretty devastated from this whole situation - I can't play frequently because of work so diamond packs are hard to come by, the few I get from events / auto play going straight to TSD. Hurts to think that my progress might be hampered by quite a few months (and that I missed out on the glitch ofc)
