A list of puns related to "Human Trafficking In Cambodia"
Two men have been arrested in London over the 2007 disappearance of Doncaster teenager Andrew Gosden.
South Yorkshire Police and the Metropolitan Police jointly detained the two men on 8 December 2021 but the arrests have only just been made public.
A 45-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of kidnap, human trafficking and the possession of indecent images of children, and a 38-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of kidnap and human trafficking. Both have now been released under investigation while enquiries continue.
Andrew Gosden, who would be 28 now, disappeared in September 2007. The then 14-year-old boarded a train from Doncaster to London, with CCTV cameras capturing him when he arrived at Kings Cross Station. That was the last known sighting of Andrew, and since then no information about his movements have been corroborated by police.
At the time he lived with his parents and sister in the Balby area of Doncaster, and withdrew Β£200 from his bank account on a day when he was supposed to be in lessons at McAuley Catholic High School. He bought a one-way train ticket to the capital.
Senior investigating officer Detective Inspector Andy Knowles said: βOur priority at this time is supporting Andrewβs family while we work through this new line of enquiry in the investigation. We are in close contact with them and they ask that their privacy is respected as our investigation continues.
βWe have made numerous appeals over the years to find out where Andrew is and what happened to him when he disappeared. I would encourage anyone with any information they have not yet reported to come forward.β
I am not OP. This is a repost.

[EDIT: SOLVED! Thanks to all of you who kept submitting THE SAME POST I kept saying wasn't it. My stress and lack of coffee have made me pretty dimwitted today. Some of the details I remembered were buried in the thread, and the social worker's posts (and links) seem to have been deleted. THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH! I am following up with some links that were sent to via DM, and will read through all links posted below to make sure all bases are being covered. I really appreciate you all taking the time to help today.]
It was a few months ago, and might have appeared in /BestOf (as I don't frequent relationship subs). Details I remember:
Things I'm not certain about:
WHY THIS IS URGENT: Over the past few weeks, my 25 year old daughter (who lives in another state) has withdrawn from everyone, even though we've always had a strong relationship. This morning, after piecing together information from multiple sources, I've noted multiple red flags in her current life (none of which came directly from her) that I remember reading about in that thread. I really need to figure out what to do next, and I believe there were resources cited that I can use. Thanks!!
UPDATE: While the post I'm searching for hasn't yet been found, I can't tell you all how humbling it is to know that other people are concerned enough to want to take take time out of their day to offer help. There is so much darkness in these links; I'm grateful I don't have to
Does this not cause major concerns? Or suspicions about who the children in the videos were, where they came from and how they were targeted, if through his rulings he was targeting them, or if other victims currently affected by his rulings remain at risk?
I've seen no discussion or theory advanced that he may have had the videos and images because of participation in a trafficking ring, despite the city suddenly being a hub for it in the past few years.
I've seen no connection made in news to these facts, or the fact the DA is under investigation in the city for releasing the guy who killed the Waukesha parade victims either. That guy was released on $1,000 bail after an offense related to domestic abuse, causing the DA to be under investigation, and the office admitting the bail was inappropriately low. Milwaukee also has been identified in government reports in the past as having the worst rates in the country of any major city in terms of arrests for domestic abuse, charges for it, or successful prosecutions. Literally the worst for all categories....I think it was around 4% or so in each case in the last report I read, and I think that was citing figures from 2009. I've also read at least one news story where a Wisconsin trafficker said Milwaukee family courts were used to find victims to target for trafficking by selecting parties to cases involving domestic abuse. Furthermore, many of the members of the Milwaukee Police Department have been profiled by the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel for being charged with domestic abuse, having injunctions against them, or otherwise being charged with violent felonies. These articles advanced concerns that these MPD officers may not be fit to respond to reports of domestic abuse, and may have bias or incentive to let abusive parties avoid liability, thus putting victims at further risk.
In light of all of this....if abuse victims in divorce proceedings are targeted when child custody is at issue....and then the victim tries to report any allegation involving child abuse or domestic abuse to police...and police discount it due to pending custody litigation, or due to bias, or based on their presumption as officers that it's well known the DA doesn't prosecute for DV and therefore filing a report of making an arrest isn't worth the time....this causes great vulnerability for victims of domestic abuse if they are targeted. Any reports involving trafficking activity are likely to also be discounted, and reinforced

What are the conditions under which these charges may be filed, as well as what distinguishes "kidnapping" from "child abduction". Thanks
