A list of puns related to "Holyrood Park"
Since the lockdown began the High Road around Arthurs Seat has broadly been closed to cars. Iβve personally enjoyed this, it gives much more room for people to walk, run and cycle on a route without pollution either by air or noise.
Today however it has opened back up on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday from 0900-1530, seemingly for the foreseeable.
I understand the perspective of disabled people lacking access without the route, and in that regard Iβd suggest someone gatekeep so to speak to allow in blue badge or equivalent holders but keep it closed to general drivers.
Anyway, my opinions aside, Historic Environment Scotland are running a survey where you can give your views on this, and on the general pedestrianisation of Holyrood Park.

Ofcourse if you disagree Iβd urge you not to contribute but only because I want my bloody roads back.
Just drove through the park by the palace, and thereβs cars parked on the grass, a lorry just sitting there and a huge gathering of folk with some cameramenβ¦ what on Earth is going on?
Multiple sightings yesterday, and it just took off now this morning.
Was on a walk earlier and noticed a ton of cops at Holyrood Park and Parliament. Couldn't see anything about what was up but it was way more than usual. Any ideas what is going on?
I've been trying to keep active this year by going out for walks in Holyrood several times a week, but getting a bit bored of the same old routine recently and finding myself less motivated.
So to keep things more interesting/keep myself motivated I'm looking for company to have a chat with along the way (socially distanced.. I'd probably wear a mask.. not looking to start the reddit strain! :P )
I am 36 M if that matters. Generally after work or weekends, if anyone is interested just give me a shout.
What's with all the litter around the carpark at Holyrood park? It's awful. I should have taken a picture this morning but it was really bad when i walked past about 9am. It's mostly Mcdonalds and KFC, shouldn't they really be sending someone to clean this crap up?
So I was thinking of going up Holyrood Park tonight to see the fireworks, I've got good lights and gear, but I'm thinking a lot of others are planning on doing the same - my question is:
Given lockdown - is it safe to go up Arthur's seat if other people are going to be there?
I wanna be safe and respect guidelines - forgive my ignorance if this is a stupid question.
