Don't ask me why I did this, I was just interested. Overall the three eastern Greater Manchester towns have the highest elevation, which makes sense as they back onto the main chain of the Pennines. Then the two remaining northern Manchester towns come in second as they back onto the Lancashire hills (offshoots of the Pennines). Then the western and southern towns come in last as they lead onto the Lancashire and Cheshire plains.
I feel like people from Barnet, Harrow etc would consider themselves Londoners. Whereas being from Oldham, Bolton etc feels fraudulent to call yourself a proper manc despite being in Greater Manchester and being closer to the city centre than some of the boroughs of Greater London would be to London centre.
I know people from Liverpool, Cornwall and Yorkshire often have a lot of regional pride in where they come from so I'm wondering if it's the same for Manchester.
Manchester and its surroundings have a rich history and have a lot of cultural impact. But Greater Manchester also has a lot of problems. Looking forward to seeing the results.

Hello :) Once I get into riding, I will, of course like to make some friends to ride with and whatnot, however, being a girl I'd ofcourse want to be friends with users who are near enough my age. So if you're about like 17-21 let me know. I'm more than happy to talk to users who are over that age though (I don't mind making general friends!) π
I simplified this so no one got the wrong impression π or got the impression I was being rude :P
I'm moving to the Didsbury/Withington area at the end of the month and I'm curious as to what snooker clubs are good to play in?
I could use Google but I want to know what you lovely people think. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated!

Redditors, we are getting closer to a dreaded lockdown so I was hoping to squeeze a Spa Day in before it happens... Β£40-70 budget pp and ideally a treatment, city centre or over towards the peak District. Any suggestions or good recommendations?
