Hi, Iβll be starting my digital nomad life from July this year. Since Iβm based in Asia, Iβll be starting from here. I have zeroed in on 2 cities.
First, Chiang Mai β great weather, food, people and fast WiFi. Iβve been in Chiang Mai once and I loved it. Thereβs a lot of expats living in Chiang Mai so I think itβd be easy to socialize and make friends.
Second, Ho Chi Minh City β Iβve never been in Vietnam so I donβt have an opinion. From what Iβve heard it seems to be cheaper than Chiang Mai and the quality of life is on par. If anyone lives or lived in Ho Chi Minh city can help me out with some information about the city, itβd be great.
I also have Kuala Lumpur as an alternative. Iβve been there in 2018 and I had a great time. Itβs a big city though so its more akin to Bangkok. To be honest, Iβd rather not live in a big city. I want a more laid back, big town vibe.
