A list of puns related to "Hit Ball Twice"
Is this a valid point?
In case 6 on this blog the point is valid if the ball hits twice in the receivers box, so I guess the point in this case is valid as well. But I'm unsure as the point is not valid if the serve hits the fence.
I was playing spikeball and the person who I was playing with thinks that if the ball hits the net twice then the point go's to him I am not sure if that's the rule though.
Sadly I wasnβt recording but I threw a curveball too early during a PokΓ©monβs attack animation and it bounced off and then hit it again and caught it. Is this a bug? Or is it just really rare? Has this happened to anyone before?

EDIT shit, I dropped a "than", OGS said:
>We created so many more chances today than when we beat them in the Cup.
[on the formation change] "You just have to go for it at the end to get chances."

To explain, in the post about the old guy who swung twice in his serve and still hit it in obviously that is not legal his foot was way over the line among other things. But in the comments someone was very adamant that it is not a legal hit because he swung twice and you cannot swing twice in one hit. That is his claim, and he sites the double hit rule which says a hit is still legal even if the ball hits your racket twice as long as both hits are within a single continuous motion (swing). He explains that this proves you can only swing once for each time the ball comes onto your side of the net, is that true? I did not think so, for example I know I have missed an overhead (1 swing) then quickly turned around and was able to get the ball back over (swing 2). I have done this a few times (not many) and no one has ever said anything about it (other player or spectator) other then βgood get/returnβ. Weβre those hits actually illegal? And if so is the two hit rule the actual reason for it? Because to me the two situations seem unrelated. Thank you to anyone who read all this, Iβll put a link in the comments to the guy making his claims.
Hey all,
I had no idea where to ask this question so here goes.
My son (league age 9) plays in AA in his local little league. There is a kid on another team who is league age 8. This 'kid' is 5'8" and probably weighs nearly 300lbs. This kid absolutely CRUSHES the ball. In our game last night, he ended up with 9 RBIs on 3 hits (all triples because he's so huge he can't run). He ended up 3-3 with 3 triples, 9 RBI and one walk.
When I say he crushes....he crushes. He launched two shots that hit the middle of the RC wall about halfway up. The third shot short hopped the CF wall. This kid also pitches and throws nearly 60 mph.
My question is this. Should this kid be playing up? The thing is, he's technically 'playing up' now considering he's league age 8.
Not only is he getting anywhere between 5-10 RBI per game, but he's hit a few comebackers this year, one of which injured the pitcher. It's kind of a safety issue.
Any of you have any experience with this?
Cricket is often considered to be a rather gentle pastime but it has a history of extreme violence. In its early days, before the modern rules had universal effect, batsmen could go to almost any lengths to avoid being out. They could obstruct the fielders and they could hit the ball as many times as necessary to preserve their wicket. This had fatal consequences on more than one occasion and, ultimately, strict rules were introduced to prevent the batsman from physically attacking the fielders.
Jasper Vinall (c.1590 β 10 September 1624, West Hoathly, West Sussex) was the first cricketer known to have died as a result of an incident during a game. He was accidentally struck on the forehead with a bat during a game at Horsted Keynes on 28 August 1624 and died thirteen days later.

More context on his comments
> When heβs back there and feeling comfortable, he can throw the ball anywhere. Everybody knows he can throw the ball. But the first time you hit him, heβs the first, heβs one of the first ones that will tuck his tail and go in at halftime. So I think we have to be physical upfront, let him know itβs going to be a long day, and I think heβll tap out.β
