A list of puns related to "Hiromi Uehara"
Actually tho after listening to Hiromi on repeat for 2 weeks I've become so much more optimistic about life for some reason and the world is so much more colorful. Hiromi where can I tell you I love you???
found an album on Spotify claiming Hiromi playing Chopin Sonata 2 and 3

She's a Jazz pianist so this was highly unexpected... is this fake? if real then I would be mind blown
It was ... very hard but very rewarding. For those interested in some wild jazz piano and/or Hiromi Uehara, I hope to see you guys soon.
This performance blew me away but I can't find any links to rewatch it. Is this some kind of copyright BS?
I really like the album Time Out, the sound, the rythm, the riffs, everything. Please help me find similar stuff.
I know I'm a little late to her party, but I've only recently discovered her. I'm not normally into jazz as a genre, but sometimes you come across something that transcends such petty divisions... if it must be categorised, just file it under "Wow!"
Suite Escapism : in Between / Hiromi The Trio Project
First off, if you don't know Hiromi Uehara, well, you freaking should. I'll include a few youtube links at the bottom for your convenience.
That said, does anyone have this album/dvd 'Sonic Bloom' that your willing to share/sell? Sure, the whole thing is on youtube, but I'd really like to have some solid tracks. ...Thanks in advance!
Here are a few links. The woman is young and probably the best piano player in existence. ..I just wish she toured with this band - especially the guitarist. When she plays she mostly is either solo or with drums & bass. ...Enjoy!

(^this last one isn't the best example. Trust me, dive into her sound. It's like classical-prog rock.)
I got into Hiromi a year or two ago. I've listened to all of her studio albums as of today, I'm pretty sure. I like her work overall, but ofc there's albums I like more than others.
Personally, I consider Place To Be and Hiromi's Sonicbloom: Time Control to be her best albums. I find Another Mind rather underrated, though.
Anyway, I'd like to know this sub's opinion about this Japanese pianist. I like jazz, but can't say I know many jazz fans in real life, so I have no idea what the general consensus regarding Hiromi is among bigger jazz listeners.
Thoughts?
