A list of puns related to "Hfp"
Hello fellow Si owners (and/or enthusiasts). Have a question for yaβll. I recently purchased an OEM HFP side skirt/rear lip kit for my 09-011 Si Coupe. These are pretty rare and Iβm stoked I was able to get them. Downside is, they are in a different color. My carβs paint is a βpolished metal metallicβ, and the skirts/rear lip are nighthawk black pearl.
Do you think it would be too tacky if I had a two-toned civic with the black HFP kit? No pics yet and I have my own opinion but want to hear from all of you.
So the title kind of explains it but Iβll give some more info.
Last week my fg4βs change lever assembly shit the bed because one of the pieces that sits in the transmission broke off but is contained in the assembly itself. Itβs an $800 part but itβs back ordered till Christmas. My dumbass also thought it was a good idea to clean the throttle body recently because of a carbon lip that built up. So essentially my car doesnβt have gears 1/3/5, and it now has an idle surge even after doing a TPS relearn. It only has 113,000 kmβs and has been unreal up until last week.
At my Honda dealership they have a 2020 white Si sedan for sale with low kmβs. I know itβs more of a personal choice but I just wanted to see what you guys would say.
If you were in my shoes (currently in college for an apprenticeship), would you continue paying off a loan on an 8 year old car that recently had some bigger issues arise or would you get out of the loan and go into a newer, more reliable Si.
In some of the recent Tumbleweed updates, my BlueParrott B450 Bluetooth headset microphone stopped working. I cannot switch from A2DP (unidirectional) to HST/HFP (bidirectional) anymore, it was working fine before.
When I check in PulseAudio, I get the following output in pactl list
(note the "available: no" for HSP):

headset_head_unit: Headset Head Unit (HSP) (sinks: 1, sources: 1, priority: 30, available: no)

handsfree_head_unit: Handsfree Head Unit (HFP) (sinks: 1, sources: 1, priority: 30, available: yes)
This is a known issue. Both the SDB entry on Bluetooth and the Arch Wiki entry on Bluetooth headsets are aware of it. The suggested workaround is using ofono
through a virtual modem with phonesim
. Unfortunately phonesim
is not available on Tumbleweed, only a few community packages for Leap, and OBS shows won't build on Tumbleweed.
Is there a workaround (or a workaround to the workaround) to get the Bluetooth headset microphone working?
I recently got a 2012 Honda Civic Si HFP and need to get winter tires for them. Should I stay on the 18 inch rims or down size the tires to fit on 17 inch rims?
Hi guys, getting brand new HFP suspension installation soon on my gk3, was wondering what's a decent ball park price for a shop to do so for all four corners? I know it varies from region, but I don't have time/place to do so myself at this stage. I think it'll be between $500-1000 if my online search is right, sounds so expensive vs the labor involved. Thanks in advance!
I just updated Manjaro and one of the updates was Pulseaudio going to v15. Before that I used to use a workaround to to get HFP profile working with my Galaxy buds but v15.0 supports that profile by default.
After the update I can indeed switch to HFP (without any workarounds) but then neither the mic nor the (earbud's) speakers work. Has anyone else also faced this issue?
I'm running Manjaro and currently on pipewire, but I was on pulseaudio, both didn't work.
I've tried so many things that I cannot say all of it. But I basically added multiple profiles on bluetooth.conf and enabled the auto switch on both pipewire and pulseaudio (on at a time)
Funny is that while searching for a solution, I saw many with the opposite problem.\

I am looking for some pointers on how to do the following:
I would like to transmit the Audio from my Linux Machine / Mac (OSX) to an Android Device via the Hands-Free Profile.
Basically I want to connect the Android device to the Linux Machine / Mac / Bluetooth Dongle that is transmitting/set to the Hands-Free Profile and then play some audio on the Machine, this audio will then be able to be recorded on the Android device as if it was sent via the Headset/Headphones Mic.
I am guessing this wont be doable with the Machine Local Bluetooth and I would need an USB Bluetooth Dongle? Any suggestions?
What software would I be able to use on the Linux / Mac side to control the Bluetooth Dongle and pipe the audio etc?
I found a very similar question here but its not exactly what I need:Β https://raspberrypi.stackexchange.com/questions/76907/pi-as-bluetooth-headset
Any help appreciated
Looking to buy EP3 HFP wheels. I came across some, but the conditions of the rims are a bit rough.
What should I expect to pay for HFP wheels in good and/or okay condition?
You donβt get help bc ppl think you are fine and are faking shit, and then you are called a liar and actor so people then donβt believe you in other shit
Man itβs hard bc ppl are just ignorant bastards and think what they canβt see just isnβt there, and when 50% of people are like that, it fucking wears you down

have been facing this issue for a while now after trying a bunch of stuff and not finding a solution for it decided to ask here. My headset works perfectly when I'm usinf A2DP sink but when switching to HFP my mic works but playback of any kind of video stops completely meaning the video won't even start playing and it also shows that HSP is unavailable for some reason (all of this is from pulseaudio) I have bluez-git, blueman, alsa and pulseaudio installed
Hello,
I have an edifier W800BT plus thats not working properly on Linux. If I'm just listening audio, the headphone runs with AD2P, but if i change the input for the built-in mic the output changes to HSP/HFP. If I change the output back to AD2P, then the mic sets back to my dell mic. I was having similar issues with this headphone on windows 10, but I managed to solve it reinstalling the bluetooth driver.
Here some info that might be helpful

Have you ever connected to a Bluetooth speaker and wanted to use Siri / make a voice note / generally use your mic but your iDevice now takes mic audio from your speaker which, lets agree, usually has a shitty mic or is too far away from you? I know I had this issue, along with this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this and that guy!
As you can tell, this issue has been around since evasi0n days man!
What can we do to make this happen? Should we start a r/TweakBounty post for this? I'd pay but I wanna see how many of you want this so we can all chip in.
It seems like every time this was requested, a bunch of people wanted to see this happen and it never did.
The tweak should just disable the HFP/HSP profile but continue using the A2DP audio (iDevice).
Iβm aware that this wonβt work on calls, as the receiving end would be greeted with a feedback loop. But Iβm talking about speakers for music.
I had a problem where after switching to HSP/HFP profile (Bluez5/PulseAudio) audio quality was really poor, and some people told me to just install PipeWire, so i did that. However, after reboot, i don't have HSP/HFP to select in pavucontrol on my bluetooth headphones. What could cause that?

Also, when i type in systemctl status
and name of the service that are listed here, i get an error that unit could not be found. However, pactl info
tells me that i'm using pipewire Server Name: PulseAudio (on PipeWire 0.3.26)
Any ideas how i can get my bluetooth headphones to switch to HSP/HFP? I want to use microphone from them
