It seems like there're only five Fall fans on r/vinyl so I thought I'd see if Reddit had a board dedicated to M.E.S and co., very happy to find out that there is! A guy called Andy Pearce has done all these Cherry Red remasters and they sound great, real fidelity to the original copy (a friend has lots of the LP's up to about 2000, after that prices start to go nuts, Fall Heads Roll is currently at about 180 quid, and the two Narnack pressings of The Real New Fall LP go for about 60 for the black and maroon vinyl and over 100 for the baby blue pressing). I have the double 10\" New Facts Emerge, Perverted By Language and Grotesque on black vinyl, all the Cherry Red re-issues are coloured, as is the Beggar's Banquet I Am Kurious Oranj. I can't wait for the Cerebral Caustic re-issue for RSD (29th August) on \"bonkers spatter-effect 180gm vinyl\"--basically the colours of the cover logo, also the Reykjavik LIve 1983 double album on yellow and orange splatter vinyl ( https://recordstoreday.co.uk/releases/rsd-drop-august/fall-the-1/ former, https://recordstoreday.co.uk/releases/rsd-drop-august/fall-the/ latter). Cerebral Caustic on Demon, Reykjavik on Cherry Red.

[M.E.S and co's indisputable masterpiece, Hex Enduction Hour on double vinyl with another disc of live/John Peel session material. It sounds fantastic over two pieces of vinyl. Again, really sympathetically mastered and just a fantastic collection of tracks. Hip Priest, Winter/Winter 2, Jawbone And The Air Rifle, The Classical and Iceland sound especially fantastic. Really pleased at the inclusion of the live disc and the Look, Know/I'm Into C.B. facsimile 7\" single. Great t finally have a copy of the latter! Cherry Red have done a fantastic job, I was reading on discogs a few people complaining about a lotta pops/crackles and some warps on both reissues but they've either sorted out their quality control or I was lucky, because my copies are flat as the proverbial and there's only one pop on \"And This Day\". According to discogs the album's only ever existed as a single LP but that means you've got half an hour on each side!

I wanted to know from anybody who has a copy whether it sounds strange, as I've heard anything over 18mins a side and you start compromising sound quality.

I don't want to force my players to make a roll each hex, but given the map size, using 12 miles or even bigger hex would be too much, there would be different places at the same hex, etc.

I was thinking on allowing them travel 4 hexes with only 1 survival check for not getting lost etc. I just don't know how to rule if they want to travel fewer distances. Of course, i could just ask them to roll 1 time, but i'm strugling with what to do if they want to travel more hexxes, or what would happen when they change biome, etc.
