Hello all, just wondering if you have any advice for dialing in a tone/power metal tone similar to what Herman Li uses.
I currently have an EVH Wolfgang Special FM - Mexico build guitar, which is a pretty versatile metal guitar. would love any advice with types of amps, pedals etc. thanks

i have a question about herman li's guitar strap and strap locks, i recently have decided to buy a Ibanez Egen 8, i want to do the herman signature move with it but want to make sure my new egen8 doesnt break ir the strap fails on me. does anyone know what straplocks and strap he uses for hist guitars? ( i dontpost amny pictures yet because i want to have it in full live show settings and the action and that geeky stuff like hermans. currently waiting on the pick holders and picks herman uses)

It seems while aquiring a Zemantis guitar, Herman noticed that our little pidgeon also uses one. Fingers crossed for this to happen

After the stream he has done with Miku and Kanami I would like to comment something about Herman Li, all these days the donations he receives in his stream go directly to Jason Becker (an amazing guitarist who has had ALS for more than 20 years) who needs money to survive and he will collaborate with other guitarists to get as much money as possible. He is a really cool dude and I say this without even being a fan of his music (sorry for my english)
Basically everyone in the metal scene knows who Herman Li and Dragonforce is. And since the pandemic begun he has become a Twitch personality (the same as Matt Heafy from Trivium). So the fact that he's having Miku is a big deal, at least in terms of reconnaissance. What are your thoughts? Will the stream make a difference or will it be just another day in the office?
