A list of puns related to "Henry Jackman"
Iβve finished listening to Henry Jackmanβs soundtrack of Locksmith Animationβs debut film Ronβs Gone Wrong, and it is probably his best animated film score to date, even edging out the mesmerizing Ralph Breaks the Internet and Puss in Boots.
One thing that makes this score stand apart from Jackmanβs other animated projects is the main theme: it is very catchy and memorable. Big Hero 6βs theme wasnβt nearly as great as Wreck-it Ralphβs, but Ronβs Gone Wrong definitely beats both any day. So far, so good.
Iβve heard many people say that there isnβt much development of the theme in the middle of the soundtrack, and that is true. Watching the film would explain why this is there, but I personally didnβt mind itβ there is always something that engages you throughout the score!
My personal highlight is the absolutely brilliant ending tracks of the soundtrack (βWeβll Find Each Otherβ, βFully Uploadedβ, βA Vision Restoredβ, βHanging Outβ, βMiddle Schoolβ, and βNew Friendsβ). Out of them, βMiddle Schoolβ is my favouriteβ a zestful four-minute reprise of an earlier cue (βMiddle School Ainβt So Badβ).
βNew Friendsβ (featuring Glass Animalsβ lead singer Dave Bayley) is probably one of the best songs with lyrics in a 2021 movie, if not the best. Itβs got great lyrics and fits very well with the rest of the score. One could call it a variation of βMiddle Schoolβ plus lyrics. As for Liam Payneβs single βSunshineβ... err, it effectively destroys the lively mood created by the ending cues. I really hope that βNew Friendsβ would be featured in the main credits of the movie instead of βSunshineβ (which most likely wonβt happen, sigh).
Overall, if you enjoyed any of Henry Jackmanβs animation scores, Ronβs Gone Wrong should definitely be on your list! I would give it a solid 4 stars (out of 5) for now, and it could very well end up in my top-10 list for 2021!
Which score is better: Frederik Wiedmann's the Rise of Supermen or Henry Jackman's Falcon & the Winter Soldier?
The guy is perfect for it. It would be so easy for him to take the tracks from the game and make them fit the movie storyboards and heβs also a big Hollywood level composer that would be perfect. Would be a really missed opportunity if they didnβt take him.
Excuse me for being a music nerd (former band student) but can we talk about how Henry Demarcus Jackson is UNDEFEATED when it comes to movie scores????? I NEED HIM TO COMPOSE FOR MY LIFE. The subtle changes to the Captain America score from TWS that were used in the first episode were, como se dice....FUCKING GOLDEN

James Newton Howard advanced to the Sweet Sixteen by what may have been a narrower margin than many might have guessed, beating out Ramin Djawadi with a final tally of 168 - 99. Newton Howard goes on to face Alexandre Desplat in the next round.
Next on the docket: Danny Elfman could prove to be a Nightmare for opponent Henry Jackman. Though Jackman has plenty of feathers in his cap - from X-Men: First Class to Captain Phillips to Kingsman - will it be enough to take down Tim Burton's favorite composer? Cult favorites like Peewee's Big Adventure, Batman, Edward Scissorhands, and The Nightmare Before Christmas could be too steep of a mountain for Jackman to climb.
But the choice is yours! Make your pick, state your case in the comments, and be sure to check out the updated tourney bracket below.
