Which one of these annual rowing events generally has more attention/atmosphere around the event?
What will the best races of the day be? Biggest upsets or controversial moments?

Tunnel boring is kind of ... well, boring ... so the Eurotunnel publicity people thought it would be neat to show something on the surface when the tunnel opened. Because of the way the dual channel 'Chunnel' was excavated, with the tunnels meeting each other half-way, it was decided that two twin-hull ships should cross each other over the channel waters (one starting from Dover called "One Two Three - Go!" and once starting from Calais called "Un Duex Trois - Alles!").
The idea was for them to pass each other and set off confetti and so on for publicity reasons. Unfortunately the weather on the channel was so inclement to the catamarans that the Un Deux Trois cat' sank.
Have been rowing in my college’s novice rowing program for about 4 months now and the squad has been narrowed down to about 20/25 of us from over 100 guys who originally tried out and I’ve been enjoying it but I had a pretty rough time last semester with flu’s/colds so I missed a few sessions and I was quite run down perhaps from the intense training having had no experience in the sport before. Racing season starts in March/April and I haven’t been invited to the extra training for the lads who will be on race boats. Of course I feel quite disheartened because I do enjoy the sport a lot, just not too sure where that leaves me, there are a few other lads in my position too so I don’t know if it’s a signal to stop going to the training sessions when college starts again for this semester? Should I have a chat with my coach?
I don’t want to feel like a spare prick/nuisance showing up if they all know I’m not going to be on a race boat. It’s sort of like what’s the point? I’m a junior (3rd year in a 4 year degree) in college as well so I feel like coaches don’t see too much development potential in me as I’ll be graduating next year. I probably sound quite defeatist, I don’t mean to be! I’m just not sure what to do!
Any advice/encouragement would be appreciated.
I was asking myself what would happen If I included a boat in the abandoned house race, at first Avery was impressed, but they checked their rule book and it turned out to be cheating, sad, I wante dto see what the game did to Avery, Would he appear a boat out of nowhere? Would they float? Guess I'll knever know
