I thought I'd just share some information, for both Tourists and Locals, on the Helston Railway. We are a volunteer run Heritage Railway situated in West Cornwall on the outskirts of the town of Helston. We are currently restoring the Gwinear Road to Helston branch line and have got a mile and a half of track restored with steam trains running. This year, we are running a reduced timetable, running on Wednesdays and Thursdays throught the summer, running a visiting steam locomotive.

Its a lovely sunny day on the Helston Railway today.
The punk scene in Richmond, VA during the 90s was rock solid. It was fully thriving and it drew punk rock bands to town from all over the place. Fortunate and grateful that I grew up here. I've seen AVAIL more times than I can recall. Flyer courtesy of Tim Barry.

TIL that Sidepony Express Music Festival, in a small mining and border town Bisbee, AZ, is known as a music festival for musicians. There are often over 100 bands from all over the Southwest, and they play 45 minute sets, back to back, at all the music venues in town: sideponyexpressmusicfestiβ¦
