I noticed that it was lit up like a Christmas tree the other night, but has been dark ever since... Anyone know the deal with their lights? It's a shame it sits dark.

The lower part of the Hearst Building was built in 1928 as the base of a skyscraper, which was cancelled due to the Great Depression. Nearly 80 years later, a modern tower was built on top of the Art Deco base.

What’s up with the Hearst Tower lighting?
Originally, the Hearst Tower was only white lights. Recently, purple lights were added, which makes me think that RGB colors are now installed into the Hearst Tower lighting system. When it’s just purple, it doesn’t look that good. Do you think the Hearst Tower will have full RGB lighting sometime soon? Does anyone know what’s going on with it?

Anyone know where the Amazon locker is located at 214 N Tryon/Hearst Tower? I got a package delivered there but after 10 minutes wandering the lobby I couldn’t find the locker. The only detail Amazon provides is the address, “214 N Tryon - Hearst Tower.”
