Expecting our third baby, second girl.
Our first two have classic names, think names like Alexander and Sophie. We both like the name Harper but I feel it will 100% date her like the names Jessica and Ashley and Brittany date girls in my generation (mid 80s).
I mean should that put us off though? My husband’s name really dates him as someone who must be over the age of 35 but he doesn’t care and it doesn’t bother him that the name Harper is trendy.
Harper also goes beautifully with my middle name we’ve chosen (my mum’s name which is pretty unusual).

I really love the name Harper for a girl. The last time I brought it up on NameNerds, a lot of people hate it, which sucks, but I respect peoples opinions. I know Harper is a last name, but there are people with the first name Taylor, and that's a last name. Harper is the only name that I never had a negative personal experience with. I only met one little girl with the first name Harper. I want to name my future daughter Harper after my teacher, Ms. Harper, who I was really close to. Hopefully, she wouldn't mind. I know it's gonna go old fast like Madison, but I really don't care

Hello! My partner and I are (hopefully) adopting a dog soon, this dog is already named Harper. We don’t dislike Harper but it’s not our favorite. Anyone have ideas for a name that may sound like Harper that we could use? Thanks!
We are pregnant again and cannot for the lives of us decide on a name! I do love this trend I stated above. Doesn’t have to be common southern last names but sometimes the more simple the better. What do ya got?

Harper Finkle has a very similar name to another mortal companion of a wizard - Harvey Kinkle from Sabrina the Teenage Witch.
Coincidence? I think not.
The main character's name is Harper and she and her mother move around a lot. Later it turns out they're moving because her mother is running from her father and also her name was changed to Harper after her mother's favorite author Harper Lee. The girl has no idea until she goes on a school trip and somehow her father finds out about her but it turns out he isn't a terrible guy.
