A list of puns related to "Halfback Pass"
Just discovered this play. For Jon Gruden users.... itβs a money, go-to long TD play. Halfback wheels to the right and almost always gets separation from the LB for a long TD pass . Great huge chunk play. Only downside, you need to wait for the separation to occur so you are vulnerable to the sack. Highly recommended.
When a play is designed for the halfback to throw does that nullify the roughing the passer rule? It came up during a high school football game I attended and there was general confusion all around among players, fans, coaches, and even the refs after the call. I haven't been able to find a rule on it.
I know you can manage playbooks but I can't seem to find these plays at all , someone help me ?
I've been looking literally all day at a bunch of different tight ends and backs for a good pass blocker, but I literally have not found anything much better than 82. I have about 400,000 coins right now.
I am looking for a playbook to have fun with the plays mentioned above. It would be helpful if you could leave the formation in as well as the playbook itself.
-Thanks
So I'm creating a custom play book and was wondering where I find the Halfback pass. I would also like to find the FL drag clear out for my custom play book. Does anyone know where I can find these plays?
As most of you know Denard Robinson was a pretty good QB at Michigan in college, glad to see Madden has accounted for this. He has like 70 throw power and pretty good pass accuracy, I wanted to see if I could use that and found the Halfback pass out of the i-formation in the Lions playbook. Works pretty well! He throws a nice little dart if you hot route the TE and WR to a crossing route. Nothing like your opponent thinking they are about to get you for a 4 yard loss and having him throw a TD. Only works once or twice a game unless you start getting good runs out of the toss play but kinda fun to pull off.
Just Win Baby
We have this idea in our heads about what the Bears should be. "Tough." "Defense." "Smashmouth."
Our history is littered with great players and a linebacking lineage that's second to none (from Bill George on).
And today that's pretty much all we talk about when it comes to the team. A defensive football identity, with a foundational myth surrounding the 1985 Chicago Bears - arguably the greatest team of all time. Suddenly, in our minds, we're "THE MONSTERS OF THE MIDWAY" and we all posture like some tough guys and shove a slightly too hot brat down our gullets and force through the burn as we throw back a beer in lieu of pepto-bismol.
The problem is this is all historically verifiable bullshit. It's false. What do I mean? I mean that that this gruff, defensive, caveman, Tim Taylor posture is completely opposite to what the actual Monsters of the Midway were.
What were they?
Nothing less than the greatest offensive force that this league had ever seen.
Don't take it from me - take it from the Chicago Bears themselves, as found on this quote on an archived post about the famed team.
"The Monsters of the Midway were the NFLβs first dynasty. They dominated the 1940s, winning four NFL titles in seven seasons (1940, 1941, 1943 and 1946). Those legendary teams were led by eight Hall of Famers in coach George Halas and players Danny Fortmann, Sid Luckman, George McAfee, George Musso, Bronko Nagurski, Joe Stydahar and Clyde "Bulldog" Turner.
Halas and Luckman teamed to help revolutionize pro football by introducing the "T" formation to the NFL during the 1940s. Operating that offense, the Bears crushed the Washington Redskins 73-0 in the 1940 NFL Championship Game, which remains the most lopsided contest in league history."
And this was when they used potatoes as footballs.
Let's take a look at the stats. From 1940 to 1944 we led the league in scoring - every year. In 1941 we outscored the 2nd place Packers by 138 points, over an 11 game season. That means, on average, we outscored the second best scoring team, per game, by 12.5 points. The Eagles put together another solid win against a bad team as they took care of the injury ridden Saints 40-29. The Eagles again won, pounding the ball on the ground running for 242 yards against the Saints number 1 ranked rush defense coming into the game. The Eagles defense did their part as well, holding the Saints in check for most of the day. The defense for the Eagles did their part on the scoreboard as Darius Slay took an INT 51 yards for the score, it was one of the 3 turnovers the defense forced on the day. The Eagles will look to build off that win as they take a trip up I95 Sunday to take on the division rival New York Giants. The Giants did not fare as well as the Eagles in week 11, falling to the defending Champion Broncos 30-10 which led to the firing of offensive Coordinator Jason Garrett. The Eagles should win this game, but they have had difficulty keeping Saquan Barkley and Daniel Jones in check in the past. The Giants offense could look different and unpredictable this week especially with all their skill players back and a new play caller. Gannon will need to be on his game and figure out a way to get pressure on Jones and get him off his game. On offense, the Sirianni will need to continue to put his players in positions to get matchups they can exploit and pound the rock for another win this week. Go Birds! |

First of all, dad jokes CAN be NSFW, it clearly says so in the sub rules. Secondly, it doesn't automatically make it a dad joke if it's from a conversation between you and your child. Most importantly, the jokes that your CHILDREN tell YOU are not dad jokes. The point of a dad joke is that it's so cheesy only a dad who's trying to be funny would make such a joke. That's it. They are stupid plays on words, lame puns and so on. There has to be a clever pun or wordplay for it to be considered a dad joke.
Again, to all the fellow dads, I apologise if I'm sounding too harsh. But I just needed to get it off my chest.

August 5th: Winnipeg defeats Hamilton 19-6
Statistical Breakdown - Per CFL.Ca
This is the most dominant Winnipeg Blue Bomber team in generations and how Mike O'Shea, Kyle Walters and Wade Miller built this team up from scratch using a plethora of all-stars and Canadian talent should go down in CFL history as one of the most successful rebuilds ever. They are on top of the world and have been for 2 years, and in the 2021 season they've been a clear cut above the rest of the league and that level of dominance is further elevated by competent and excellent quarterbacking from Zach Collaros.
Zach Collaros has had a movie-esque career in this league to say the least. Collaros started his career in Toronto, backing up Ricky Ray (one of the greatest CFL quarterbacks of all time) and when Ricky Ray went down to injury in 2013, Collaros came in and absolutely balled out throwing for 2300 yards and 14 touchdowns in 8 games. That offseason he wasn't picked up by the expansion Redblacks and was subsequently released by Jim Barker when they couldn't come to terms on a new contract. Collaros signed with Hamilton in the 2014 offseason and was consistently one of the best quarterbacks in the league until his career began to be derailed by injuries, suffering an ACL injury in 2015 and a mulititude of concussions. Masoli became the starter in Hamilton and Collaros was traded to a rebuilding Saskatchewan Roughriders under Chris Jones. Concussions continued to hamper Collaros in Saskatchewan, knocking him out of the 2018 playoffs and most of the Riders 2019 season when he was speared by Hamiltonβs Simoni Lawrence on a dirty headhunting play. Collaros spent the majority of 2019 on injured reserve, with most football fans worried about his long-term health due to the amount of concussions he's suffered in his 7 year career at that point.
On July 31st, 2019 Zach Collaros was traded to the Toronto Argoanuts with the assumption that he'd start over McLeod Bethel-Thompson at some point during that season. He never had a chance to play for Toronto and he was traded once more to the Winnipeg Blue Bombers to start for the injured Matt Nichols when it became apparent that the offense was limi

As the United States entered World War II, life was flipped upside-down in virtually every aspect. However, efforts were made to maintain a semblance of normalcy, especially in the sports world as leagues like the NFL played their seasons to the best of their ability. Still, as players came and went into the military, the NFL decided to help out the best way they could: playing football.
From 1942 to 1945, various NFL teams decided to hold exhibition games not just against other clubs, but also against service teams on their bases or nearby fields. With so much football talent being sapped away by the armed forces, it only made sense for the new servicemen to spend their free time by playing a sport that they were savvy in.
As everyone knows, in today's preseason format, teams play three games. The opponents don't really follow a set structure like the regular season, but some teams have agreements to play each other every year like the Bears and Titans.
Back then, however, teams could basically play exhibition games against whoever they wanted, even those outside of the NFL. It was not uncommon for NFL clubs to prepare for the regular season by taking on amateur, semi-pro, and college all-star teams, and many of these meetings often took place at neutral sites or where these opponents typically held their home games. The NFL was not the giant that it is today, but having a fully professional football team visit your hometown was always a neat sight. Heck, they didn't have to be preseason games as some took place in the middle of the year.
When the U.S. entered the war, many college and pro football players were drafted into the services, leaving schools/franchises drained in the talent department and bases supplied. To keep personnel sharp even when they weren't seeing combat, the installations began forming football programs, and many would enjoy success in the college football realm with schools like the Navy's Iowa Pre-Flight ending the 1943 season ranked #2 in the AP Poll.
Likewise, NFL teams decided to refocus their exhibition scope and began scheduling games against camps from every branch of the armed services. NFL vs. military was not a new concept (the Eagles' second-ever preseason game in 1933 was against local members of the Marine Corps, for example), but it was a sensible choice: both sides would get their men into sha
