In the new Nintendo Direct that was released today, there when some new news on games like Bravely Deafult 2, No More Heroes 3, and Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity. However, strangely enough, the one game I was most excited for is a little known game called Part Time UFO. This game is seriously underated and I would like to type in a collage essay about why you should play this game.
Part Time UFO was originally a mobile game developed by the folks at Hal Laboratories, the developers behind the Kirby and Box-Boy series. That should already get most of you intesested, since it's made by a Nintendo second party developer. Unfortunately, because of the fact that this game is listed as made by Hal Labs in the app stores instead of Nintendo, most people probably have never even heard of this game. We can see this by looking at the amount of reviews on the play store: Part Time UFO has 3,772 reviews, while Fire Emblem Heroes has 528,219 reviews. This should give you an idea of how many people knew about this game.
In part Time UFO, you play as a UFO (duh) completeing everyday errands for the local folk in your town. The gameplay is basically a much more advanced version of a crane game. You can move your character, and drop your crane to pick up stuff to move it to another location. That might sound simple, and it is, but there's a lot of varitey in the stages to make it different each time. The most important thing about the game in general is that the entire game is paid once, and there's literally no microtransactions. You cannot pay for coins to buy hats. All your currency is paid fairly to you to buy, and that's why I think Part Time UFO is special compared to most other mobile games. It feels like a true console game that's made for mobile. With no crap like gacha stuff.
I spent too long on this and I'm proabaly going to be clowned on r/tomorrow, but hey, at least I got to share this underated game to you guys.
I would put Alpha Dream (Mario & Luigi, etc) as an option but they went bankrupt and are dead
