A list of puns related to "Guthrie, Oklahoma"
Jeremy Toles was born on September 9, 1986. He grew up in Midwest City, Oklahoma and was a star football player at Star Spencer High School. In 2006, he received a scholarship to play football for Langston University as a defensive back. Only a year later, he was shot in the leg while leaving a pizza parlor. Someone had opened fire in the parking lot, injuring Jeremy and one woman.
With Jeremy's football career ended unexpectedly, he fell into a downward slide into a troubled life. He became reserved and started carrying a gun. He became associated with a "gang" in Midwest City and took on the nickname "Stretch." All of this culminated with his 2009 arrest for carrying a concealed weapon and concealing stolen property.
After receiving a five year deferred sentence, Jeremy started to turn his life around. Jeremy got a job with a telecommunications company where he earned a reputation as a hard worker and was beloved among his customers. He took up cooking as a hobby, and became a new father in December 2010.
On Saturday, April 9, 2011, Jeremy called his mother, Gladys, to say he would be dropping by to do laundry. He placed another call to check on his daughter. But that was the last time his family would hear from him. He did not go to his mother's to do laundry. Instead, he went to meet friends in Langston. Jeremy did not come home that night. He did not pick up his daughter on Saturday. And he did not show up to work on Monday. His family, who had been trying to contact him all weekend to no avail, was becoming increasingly worried.
Then on the afternoon of Monday, April 11, a body was found by a farmer in his field in nearby Guthrie. Gladys said she knew right away that it was her son, Jeremy. Jeremy had been a victim of homicide. He died of blunt force trauma before being dumped in that field in Guthrie, near May Avenue and Waterloo Road.
Those closest to him state that he had no known enemies, and they do not understand why this would have happened to him since had been able to turn his life around. Jeremy was known as someone who was always able to make people smile or laugh, and was a very caring and loving father. More than 900 people were in attendance at his memorial on April 16, 2011.
More than 10 years after the murder of Jeremy Toles, his case remains unsolved. There has been very little coverage in the media. There has been no additional information or updates released by law enforcement. His case is featured in the OSBI's cold ca

A place where I worked in mental health at a substance-abuse treatment center. The location they upset me too is actually an active drug dealers house. This is strange. Highly strange.
