A list of puns related to "Gutenbergโrichter Law"
So Project Gutenberg is a free site that provides you with free ebooks, novels without any such costing! Doesn't require any fee or registration either! You can either download or read online. Have any of you considered reading from their site?
I've been poking about gutenberg blocks trying to understand a use for them. I get that they're useful to knock out a simple grid layout but I haven't seen any particularly creative examples of them being used.
I guess I'm looking for 'break the grid' examples that would be considered 'high' design.

Hello,
I'm currently in the process of moving away from page builders like Divi and Elementor to Gutenberg and having a hard time on where to start, e.g. what theme to use, how to setup the content width and especially which block plugin to use.
So far I've tested these:
- Getwid
- Gutentor
- Qubely
And I think I will stick with stackable, since its the only one which provides a real mobile preview (e.g. when you want to change the font size on mobile, click on table/phone, the window resizes, change font size, change back to desktop) and I also like the structure of the options.
But from here, I don't know where to go. For theme I wanted to try either Kadence or Blocksy or maybe GeneratePress since I still have premium running for a couple of months.
The problem is, how do I start? Let's say on Elementor I install the Hello Theme, setup colors, fonts and the max website width. What is the optimal way to get started with gutenberg?
Thank you!
Gutenberg.org is blocked in Germany. My exit node in not in Germany, but nonetheless i receive this message: "We apologize for this inconvenience. Your IP address has been automatically blocked from accessing the Project Gutenberg website, www.gutenberg.org. This is because the geoIP database shows your address is in the country of Germany." How is it possible?
If you are a serious wordpress developer and thinking about skilling up, which of the two would you choose.
I am trying to answer this myself. Few scenarios I am in are.
I just had to share this tool which saved me an hour of writing an Excel VBA code to do the same thing:
https://mariecomet.fr/css-php-generator-gutenberg-color-palettes/
The tool creates php code for adding custom colors to the Gutenberg editor as recommended by WordPress documentation. The point is that when you have a highly designed site that needs consistency across pages, it's laborious to add all the php and css code for each color (you need both the add_theme_support
code and the css declarations for the colors to work properly.)
Hi,
I asked a similar questions about Gutengerg Block Templates (https://developer.wordpress.org/block-editor/reference-guides/block-api/block-templates/) but just looking for some extra clarity.
Basically how do you handle Gutenberg when you have a custom post type that may have hundreds of posts?
I thought that Gutengerg Block Templates where a good way to go, but then this quickly breaks down when you need to change something in the future as it won't update the previous posts block template.
Or is it better to just stick with the single-cpt.php template file? In which case if the posts need a block do I then have to create a template part which does the same thing as the block instead to include in the single-cpt.php file?
For instance if on the home page I have a custom block for testimonials and I want that block on all the posts in a CPT, but I don't want to have to go through them all in the future to remove it, would I have a custom block and also a template part?
Thanks and sorry if this is similar to my previous question I'm just trying to understand the best way of working with the Gutenberg editor.
Hi there,
I used to use Wordpress long ago, but ventured off into just doing my sites by hand along with CSS grid, and then the foundation framework, etc. I decided to give WP a whirl again to help me potentially save some time for my personal site and have noticed that the Gutenberg editor gives you almost no realistic expectation of what the frontend product will look like... How was this released?
The default blocks are also inconsistent, missing a bunch of necessary media type functionality for columns and other elements.
...and the twenty-twenty-one theme is listed as responsive?? (Using it as a base, so maybe that's my problem?)
Am I speaking to the choir here, or am I missing a some widely used plugins that solve any of these issues? If this doesn't workout for me, I'll need to find a new framework to use, as foundation is now community run and I'm not 100% certain that will pan out well.
Some other inconsistencies people have come across:
Yes, I know Gutenberg gets lot of hate but I'm using it for a simple blogging website so it should 100% be enough. What are some of the most useful/your favorite extensions or addons for the Gutenburg editor?

by \[Author\]([http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Author](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Author))
The formatting to make hyperlinks:
