Grip It! On That Other Level Puns

I mentioned this thought in another thread, but thought I’d elaborate. I think this is relatively intuitive, but worth mentioning explicitly.

At this point is seems basically certain that Watkins has massive/total power over Q. And the most likely scenario is that “Q” knows Watkins could either release internal comms proving Q is a hoax, or hand over the account and split the movement if Q moves to greener pastures.

You could maybe argue that 8chan’s unexpected disappearance put Q in a bind with “no outside comms.” But if Q was a grifter without major ties to Watkins, or somehow magically was an actual spy, the instant 8kun came up he would’ve announced a move to a more stable platform.

8kun clearly isn’t offering him a stable platform, even if Watkins is cutting him in on ad revenue it can’t be as much as Q could negotiate with another site wanting to host drops. The built-in audience of 8chan doesn’t work either because the vast majority of Qultists rarely or never go to 8chan and just follow the drops downstream.

Fundamentally, Q is totally bound to Watkins, and since I doubt he can offer a bigger carrot than competitors, it’s got to be a stick, a big one. And the most reasonable stick would be that Watkins has made it clear he’s willing to burn the whole Qult to the ground if anyone cuts him out of the grift.

I would be able to accept them as canon if they were bad films with not good acting or if the plot was boring, but the fact that they desecrate the lore of Star Wars means I will never accept them as canon. I don’t get how other people can just easily accept it.

I see so many examples here and in real life of other styles of poly and so few like what I'm describing on the title. I'm starting to think I might be a (weird?) exception. Any thoughts?

On one side, we got the report that China PMI sunk to a level that’s significantly worse than expect, on a historical level. On the other hand, it is also reported that factory activity in China has been around (or possibly restored to) 60%, instead of the 30% estimated by analyst. Any thoughts?

Like the title states, the amount of bots present is obvious to anyone who has used Coinbase for a long period of time. Not only have they grossly inflated their fees, but they allow bots to run rampant. There appears to be very little legitimate activity.

Any other exchanges out there that are more legitimate?

From the point of view of recruiters who handle trainee/graduate/junior consultant roles, would you say that, generally, you receive applications from graduates with high degree classifications or from people who consider it to be their first career choice and a successful career path to follow? Or does it happen more often that a recruitment career is underestimated by this group of applicants and looked at as a back-up when it comes to their first role out of university? I am curious about the general perception of grads about recruitment roles.

Edit: I am asking this because certain agencies which operate in executive search require a 2.1 in the UK or a degree from a top 50 university. Others require a 2.2. The majority do not mention a grade in the degree achieved in the advert, but emphasize "top achievers" at university.

I mean...come on ARMA has a tutorial, every game 10 years old has a tutorial. make one like half life or something.. idk where the first time you launch the game you're "stuck" and shown basic thing. this can also prevent fake free to play accounts by making the training 10-15 minutes long. I had to play duos with him and literally walk around explaining why you don't want to get a bow or a pistol (while trying to fend off enemy teams solo because he obviously couldn't hit a broad side of a barn for christ sakes)

I can't do anything, he's right. The game is garbage to new people. the only reason it's not garbage to me or old people is because we all watched streamers play it back in the pre seasons and learned how to play the game before we even downloaded it. new players come in not even knowing how to play (no streamers). That's what I did when I worked at the liquor store, on my down time I would watch summit play, learn what to pick up, learn how to play early game, learn where the car spawns were. Then get home after work and put it all into action. We're royally fucked for new players today. fucked.

So doing some basic math, the roadster would experience 1.4g+ to do 0-60 in 1.9s. However, there are no non-slick tires that I'm aware of that would have such levels of grip and there doesn't appear to be any significant downforce at play.

The car being tested was on Cup2, which while very grippy, are nowhere near slicks and many new cars are sporting the latest ones.
