A list of puns related to "Greenberg V. National Geographic"
I understand the need for drone ships (Falcon 9 and Neutron) and RTLS capabilities (Neutron) and the two companies differing approaches to recovery as well as the associated costs. (Peter Beck doesn't like the costs of boats.)
Here's the question: is there a geographic location in the world where a company could feasibly launch a rocket and (given a relatively typical launch profile) land their booster on a land based pad such that they simply needed to truck or barge it back to the launch site? For instance, launch from Texas, get maximum performance without a boost back burn, land in Yucatan and drive or ship it back (perhaps without the logistical political issues of landing in another country.) I know it's logistically difficult to transport regardless, but as I was looking at the numbers for reusable vs expendable Neutrons in particular I noticed how much Delta V it sacrifices to make its RTLS. Thoughts?
Hi, Iβm Rachel Fobar, and I write about wildlife crime and exploitation for National Geographic. For this story on the USDAβs enforcement of the Animal Welfare Act, I interviewed former USDA employees who say inspectors were encouraged to look the other way when faced with poor welfare. Many believe the agency caters to business interests over animal welfare, and experts say that while enforcement has reached new lows in recent years, itβs been insufficient for decades. Thanks for reading and ask me anything!

EDIT: Thanks so much for your questions! I really enjoyed answering them, but I have to run now. Thanks again for your interest!
> GQ: So, I heard you like roses? > > Dwight Howard: Yeah, I have a rose garden. I have over 12 different types of roses that range from different colors of white, pink, red, yellow and they have different smells. Usually when people get they roses from the streets, they donβt have that smell to them. But the ones I got, they smell like perfume women wear and cologne I have. As a kid I would always hear people say, βstop and smell the roses.β So, I try to do that a lot, to basically say βslow downβ¦β > > I got the idea when I was visiting a friend of Oprah Winfreyβs. The guyβs wife had a big rose garden. They had over 25, 30, maybe 100 different types of roses. So I said, βMan, I gotta get this in my repertoire.β > > Whatβs the perfect smelling rose? Since you and Oprah are experts. > > I like the sweet smelling roses. It was crazy, Outkast had a song where they said βroses really smell like doo dooβ and I just didnβt think that could really be true. These roses I have in my garden, they smell extremely good. It scents up the whole house. Iβve got 20 acres and I can smell the roses from the garden from the other side of the house. Sometimes, it feels like God is moving through the wind. If Iβm at home, having a bad day or something like that, I get that sweet smelling scent. It gets me going. Itβs someone telling me everythingβs gonna be okay, so I donβt fret. I donβt fear.
> Is it true you also have a bunch of snakes at your crib? > > I used to have over 50. Right now itβs about 13. > >Why would you want to live with over a dozen snakes in your house, man? > > [Laughs] People give snakes a bad rap. Theyβre very docile creatures, very silent and donβt do a lot of moving unless theyβre outside their cages. I think theyβre amazing. Reptiles can teach you a lot about how to be still. It might sound crazy, but I think snakes are always in a meditative state. Theyβre so zen and calm. They follow the energy thatβs around them. They see heat signatures, which is like energy. You can tell by a personβs body heat what type of person they really are. Snakes can help you [understand] the people around you. Every snake Iβve had, theyβve only really snapped at people that were not good for me... > > Well, logic says that any man who has a snake will have a snake incident. > > Theyβve bit me before. >
