[DIPLOMACY] The Great White Fleet Sets Sail!
After long delays owing to the high standard of training expected before setting out on a continent-spanning voyages, the Tanzani Great White Fleet is finally ready to set sail. Painted in a splendid white coat of paint befitting the diplomatic nature of this journey, rather than their standard sea camouflage paint schemes, the ships are an impressive sight indeed.
The flagship for the voyage is of course TNS Vanguard, pride of the Tanzani navy and commanded by Captain Anasa Russell. Its bridge will also be home to Admiral Rashid Robertson, in command of the entire fleet, while the diplomatic delegation aboard is led by Ambassador First Class Zahra Willis.
Besides Vanguard, the fleet consists of the following ships:
- TNS Blake, Minotaur-class
- TNS Baraka, Minotaur-class
- TNS Gambia, Fiji-class
- TNS Mauritius, Fiji-class
- TNS Bermuda, Fiji-class
- TNS Hamidi, Fiji-class
- TNS Haoniyao, Fiji-class
- TNS Kiira, Fiji-class
- 24 Battle-class destroyers of various configurations
The fleet will depart early in the year, heading south and following this general itinerary:
- Andranomavo, Madagasikara, meeting with local elders and VEZO executives
- The new port of the Malawi Stratocratic Unitary State, if granted access
- Island City, Far Point, and The Core in the Anglo-Soviet Union
- Autonomous Provinces of Xhosaland and Zululand
- Cape City, South Africa
- Bataung Military Order, if given port access
- Lwandan Port Cities, if given port access
- Ombando, Utopia Conglomerate
- Association of Independent Communities, if given port access
- Brotherhood of Benin, if given port access
- Agbor, Nigeria
- Stopping to take on extra supplies
- Fish Town, River Gee, Liberia
- Anse de Mali, Union Africaines de Marins - will meet here with any representative of RSR Mali that wants to make the journey
- Stopping to take on extra supplies
- Long nonstop journey around Northern Africa
- Adat Cussra, Ethiopia - will meet here with any representatives from Zion and Darfur that wish to make the journey as well
- Galkayo, Somalia
- Republic of Kenya, if granted port access
- Home to Chalinze, Tanzani
[Note: since this is such a long journey, try not to do anything... permanent, that would affect encounters for other players down the line or force the fleet to turn back. I'm treating the trip as taking a full year so anyone can respond th

[EVENT] The Great White Fleet (Gulltown Edition) Disclaimer: Only 1 ship.
Oscar Grafton was finally back on the open waters. His time spent in King's Landing had been fruitful indeed, but it was time for a new journey and for him to continue the mission that Denys had given him the previous year. Gulltown was finally spreading it's wings and leaving the isolation of the Vale, and they needed new friends and allies to help give them a strong position with which to wield considerable influence on the politics of the realm.
Oscar was a naval man, in fact, he'd always been a naval man. It was the one the thing that truly brought him peace and happiness. If he could choose whom the allies of his house would be, it would be other naval powers of the Eastern coast. Gulltown already had trading relationships with White Harbor and Driftmark, and Oscar planned on visiting both of those holds eventually... but for now, his journey took him South to the Stormlands.
As he sat in his quarters on his Galley he looked at the scribbled list of holdfasts his wished to visit and then walked towards the map. Tarth, Estermont, Weeping Town, Stonehelm, Driftmark and then home. It was a long arduous journey on the open seas. But nevertheless, he was happy to undertake it.
[meta] Will post the autodetects at each port as I arrive.

TDIH: February 22, 1909 Great White Fleet, 1st US fleet to circle the globe, returns to Virginia
In the last years of his administration, President Theodore Roosevelt ordered a massive US Navy fleet to circumnavigate the globe to project American naval power. The fleet, their hulls painted white, was meant as a showpiece of American goodwill and was to make courtesy calls at a number of ports globally.
Great excitement followed the arrivals of the White Fleet. In Australia, when the fleet arrived in 1908, they were greeted with huge receptions of people: they too liked Australia, and over 200 of them deserted while in Australian ports.
The fleet returned to the United States in 1909. Apart from displaying to the world the rising naval and military power of America, the visits led to improvements in formation steaming, coal economy and morale aboard ships in the naval fleets.
1907-12-16 As a gesture of the US's new presence as a world power, President Theodore Roosevelt sends the 'Great White Fleet' on a round-the-world cruise, visiting ports internationally

US Cruiser St. Louis - Great White Fleet skin for the second hull
I added the Great White Fleet skin for the second hull of the US cruiser St. Louis, which is better than the dull grey Wargaming gave us (even though they made the effort to make a GWF skin for the stock hull). The forum page also has two skins for the Imperator Nikolai I (I had already posted that on Reddit a few days ago).
Here's a preview: https://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/originals/b1/57/c1/b157c186104cfb32bd8eb40f0dc8898e.jpg
