Fuck yeah, can't wait to write Jay Gatsby into my high fantasy story and not face any legal consequences. π
... and once I was finished, I straight up read it a second time. Holy shit that book is good!!! All those fine details that completely change the story and the way you perceive the characters if you pick up on them. I'm totally in awe, maybe I should go and read it a third time lol. Now I'm curious if Fitzgerald's other works are just as well written (I've only read Benjamin Button some years ago). Have you guys had any similar experiences with books you meant to read for a long time and then finally picked up only to be completely blown away by them?

And I mean an actual "Great Gatsby" scenario. Not one with Jazz / Party themes, like The Last King, but one where Gatsby, Nick, etc are all actual characters in the scenario.
Not sure how you turn the whole thing into an arkham adventure that feels both original and different to The Last King, but I'm sure there are many ways...
Don't like Great Gatsby? Loads of other works from the 20s are now in public domain, including Mrs Dalloway, The Trial, Go West, An American Tragedy, etc. The Trial actually sounds perfect for a horror variant. It's almost Arkham-esque without any changes.
Just curious
Is it just me or does people feel this way? I fucking hate how Daisy and Tom Buchanan just gets a happy ending while Jay Gatsby is dead. Like fucking Daisy ur the reason y Jay is dead, and the only thing he tried to do was get u back. And fucking Tom. Fucking Tom is just an absolute cunt. They also have the audacity to skip the funeral. It jus shows how shallow the richest people in the world are/
