A list of puns related to "Grant Gee"
From about 2008, The Generalist did a podcast interview with Gee about Joy Division documentary and he talks about Radiohead as well, enjoy! :)

There have been rumors of a possible expansion, so letβs imagine it does happen, but the NBA decides to only add one new team to the league (sorry Vegas), bringing back the beloved Seattle Supersonics. The Sonics are back babbyyyyyyyy!
Now the Sonics need to build their team from ground up, starting with the expansion draft, and following it with signing players in the off-season.
Here are some simplified terms of the expansion draft:

This post deals with Subboor Ahmad's "ideas" about the field of evolutionary biology. Some may know that Subboor Ahmad has hosted the young earth creationist Paul Nelson on his YouTube channel to debunk the science of common ancestry. For lengthy demonstrations of how Paul Nelson gets everything wrong (while misrepresenting every scientist he quotes like Eugene Koonin in the process), see here, here, here, and here. In these videos, Subboor had a bit of a concerning and quite ready tendency to accept literally any gibberish that Paul Nelson was spewing. In this post, I'll focus more specifically on how Subboor justifies his pseudoscientific creationism.
As a bit of background. Subboor is a Muslim creationist and apologist who has no clear expertise on the subject. Despite claiming to be a pursuing a philosophy of biology PhD at Birkbeck College (though he seems to have been pursuing it for quite a while now), he's been at this for many many years without ever getting anything he's said published anywhere reputable. So he just puts it out on YouTube and his blog. In a debate he handily lost against James Fodor at the timestamp 1:34:00+, he was asked to name a single scientific discovery / finding that would convince him that his creationism is wrong. He admitted he couldn't think of anything, and that the only way he'd accept evolution is if he literally first became an atheist. In other words, Subboor is rather open about the fact that there is no evidence that could compel him out of his dogma. Here, I'm debunking his blog post "Darwinβs biggest critics are evolutionary biologists".
https://subboorahmad.com/darwins-biggest-critics-are-evolutionary-biologists/
Subboor tries to show that the academic and public understanding of evolution is different, that real specialists think evolution is "just a theory" resting on baseless assumptions. But if that

In case you found yourself struggling, don't be discouraged but look to take advantage of the situation. ##Listen:
##Background:
Over the past 5 years Mach-Hommy has released a barrage of new age boom-bap projects: from his Griselda debut βHaitian Body Odorβ in 2016, to the colossal 2017 wave of βDump Gawd: Hommy Editionβ, βLuh Hertzβ, βFete De Mortsβ, βThe G.A.T.β and numerous more, his 2018 and 2019 releases including βBulletproof Luhβ and βWap Konn JΓ²j!β, as well as 2020βs βMachβs Hard Lemonadeβ. Staying quiet after the release of MHL, photos emerged Christmas Day of Mach-Hommy and Westside Gunn together, showing the two had reconciled after a falling out following the release of HBO. After this Gunn announced various albums on Twitter, including a Mach release under Griselda, titled HBO 2 in the tweet. On Easter Sunday, Gunn released βEaster GunnDay 4β, featuring Mach-Hommy, in which it was proclaimed that the two would be dropping a project titled βPray For Haitiβ. Photos and footage of work on the album in Puerto Rico showed collaboration with the likes of Camoflauge Monk, SadhuGold and Westside Gunn himself. It was announced the album would drop on Haitian Flag Day, May 18th. Despite this, it wasnβt until the following Friday, May 21st, that the album was finally released.
##Review:
When first announced βPray For Haitiβ featured a Jean Michel Basquiat piece as itβs artwork, a precursory glance at the albumβs Haitian imagery (the artistβs parents were Haitian and Puerto Rican). The colourful painting, Untitled (Fishing), features a skeletal, black fisherman, a scri

Before you read, please note that while there has been a conviction in Sally's case, it is extremely obvious who is responsible for her disappearance and likely death, and it may not seem like an "Unresolved Mystery" to some, let me reiterate her remains have never been recovered. Sally is still a missing person and her family still deserves closure.
Background
In 1976, Sally Brown met Gary Rawlings in Pennsylvania. The couple married in Denver, Colorado in 1977. Sally became Sally Rawlings and fell out of contact with her family. She gave birth to a daughter, Kimberly, in 1980. The family moved to Oklahoma City in late 1981.
At this time, they had a difficult relationship. Gary had a temper and was abusive to Sally. On January 12, 1982, Sally filed for divorce. The divorce was granted on February 24, 1982 and Sally was awarded custody of Kimberly. Sally and her daughter moved into Passageway, a YWCA shelter for victims of domestic abuse. She had a history of past mental health issues and engaged in counseling while staying at the shelter. She was diagnosed with post-traumatic stress disorder.
In March 1982, Sally and her daughter moved again, this time into the Kirkpatrick Hotel, located in downtown Oklahoma City. She reportedly chose this location due to the secured locked front doors. On March 21, police were called to the Kirkpatrick Hotel where Sally was staying. Gary had failed to return Kimberly on time after his scheduled visitation. He arrived at the hotel around 9 pm without Kimberly, and an argument followed. During the argument, he hit Sally in the head. She had a large gash in her head and was taken to a local hospital for treatment. Sally told authorities Gary had also stolen important documents from her, including Kimberly's birth certificate. Gary told Sally the next time she saw him, she would be dead. Eventually, Gary returned Kimberly to her mother and agreed to forgo visitation with her for six months.
Later that same month, she began a job as a secretary at the Kerr-McGee Corporation. Over the course of the next two months, she developed a reputation as a good employee who kept to herself and was just a bit odd. She was overheard talking to herself on multiple occasions.
At this time, Kimberly was enrolled in daycare. Sally would drop her off everyday before work around 8 am and pick her up after work, generally between 5-5:30 pm. She also began looking into local rental properties, paying a private company $45.00 t

I was over at his place the first time he tried to open that thick, dark oak door. I remember (we were seven at the time, I think) him flashing me that cheeky, lopsided smile, before standing on his tip toes and straining for the handle. I remember his dad snatching him away a second later, and slamming him back down next to me with a force that brought tears into Danny's eyes. Mr Johnson was a very big man, and, although I'd known him all my life, he had always been a slight source of fear for me. As I grew older, this infantile nervousness around him subsided a little, but he always made me wary.
Mr Johnson knelt, gripping Danny's shoulders. His face was red with anger, but he also looked shaken; I noticed he was trembling almost as much as his son.
'Listen to me, Danny,'
His voice cut like a knife.
'You never, ever, open that door. Do you understand me? Never. I've told you before and I'll tell you again. Under no circumstances do you go in there.'.
Then he bundled his snivelling son into a tight hug, before inviting us to come watch cartoons.
Afterwards, I had asked Danny what was behind the door. He had told me, in a round about way, that it was his basement; he seemed only half interested in the conversation, always distracted by the tinkle of an ice cream truck or an interesting stick. Danny's zealous imagination could take anything innocuous, anything everyday, and turn it into something extraordinary; sometimes, I thought he could actually see the things he dreamed up.
Danny and I had always been friends; we were never really given a choice in the matter. Our families neighboured each other directly, and our parents had known each other since college; they just heaped the infant Danny and I together and waited for a bond to grow.
And there was a bond; in the simplest sense, we were best friends. We were always together; in the same class at school, in the same scout group; we even ducked into and out of each others houses like they were connected. For me, there didn't exist a life where Danny wasn't there to get me into trouble, or to get me out of it.
Of course, we had our differences; I was always the quiet one, good in school, rarely to be found without my nose in a book. Indeed, if it hadn't been for the influence of the popular and gregarious Danny, I might well have been subject to harsh teasing throughout my education.
That was how our unspoken trade-off played out; Danny
