A list of puns related to "Graham Coxon"
Just came to my knowledge that there was a track (possibly 'Kiss of Morning' era?) that Graham played a couple of times in Camden in 2001, but hasn't been heard of since.
I realise there's no audio or video for this so it's quite a longshot, but do any hardcore fans from that far back remember anything about that track, why it never took off, or how it sounded?
Am I the only person who wondered this?
Posted in both /radiohead and /blur
not really Blur related but this song is ode fire.

Mexican Institute Of Sound - My America Is Not Your America (Feat. Graham Coxon), coming out this Friday. (So not only The Song Machine :-) Graham is (very rarely) featured as vocalist on someone elseΒ΄s record, the only other time I can think of is "Searching for Lambs" on the album Till April Is Dead - a Garland For May by folk singer Lisa Knapp. Check out the teaser:
I feel like an idiot for not realizing this before, but I just read and interview where Jamie said 2D was based on a friend of both his and Damon. It has to be Graham, right? Just thinking about him, he has the exact same shy mannerisms and high-pitched voice while also being a musical genius who goes on nonsensical tangents in interviews. This has probably been mentioned before, but... Just listen to him speak.

Yeah, it's Graham, isn't it? I feel like an idiot. Of course it is.
"Graham Coxon has recorded new music as a soundtrack to accompany his upcoming graphic novel Superstate."
Graham wrote this interesting article about what he would do if he ruled the world.

>Anyone wanting to be a politician would not be allowed to be one. Itβs kind of obvious to me. Of course a lot of people get into politics to be helpful and to create positive change, but I think anyone wanting to be a politician [for the power] is the wrong person for the job. They should at least have to have a thorough psychological profile done.

>The teaching of aesthetics would be compulsory in schools. Aesthetics should be taught from a young age right the way through school and as compulsory as English, maths, science and PE. Art appreciation is perhaps what youβd call itβpainting, sculpture and music from all around the world. I was lucky, I had amazing teachers, but teachers canβt always have the energy to be inspiring, theyβre a knackered breed for the most part. Kids are told nowadays that they canβt draw that well. People are judged early on subjects that need time. Kids need the opportunity to take art seriously, and see the beauty of it. And that can extend to graffiti and street art if you must [laughter], but proper art too. People who say they βcanβt drawβ often do the most terrific drawings, which are untrained but have a naive power.

>I love drawing with pencil and paper and connecting your hands and your eyes with marks made on a piece of paper. That should be part of the rule. That pencil and paper drawing is absolutely compulsory. No frigging felt tips!

>All artists would be put on a retainer from the government. Art is the most important thing about civilisation, end of story. Musicians, writers, painters and all the other artists should be supported. I really disagree with people who say artists do their best work when theyβre living in a garret and all that.

>There would be no such thing as βgood and evilβ. It would be about duality instead. The patriarchal, monotheistic religions would be phased out, and nature would become what we respect. Letβs face it, good and evil, heaven and hellβitβs all about control
I love him so much. That's all. Too hyped!
