recently stayed at the goodwin hotel, there was this really small bottle of body wash i'm trying to find. i think the scent was blueberry thyme and i'm seeing where i can get more potentially or something similar. thanks

If you feel it's appropriate to share NSFW jokes with your kids, that's on you. But a real, true dad joke should work for anyone's kid.

Please consider changing rule #6. I love this sub, but the recent influx of NSFW tagged posts that get all the upvotes, just seem wrong when there are good solid DAD jokes being overlooked because of them.

Since I had so many questions while watching, I started to make a list of them midway through season 1 just to keep track of what was going on. Not sure if anyone else would be interested in reading through but I would love to hear if I'm missing anything. Many of them have obvious answers looking back but I left them all in. Here they are with my answers after finishing the finale:

Does Jin know English? At the start it is unclear how much he knows but not very much at all initially.

Why doesn’t Jin tell his wife the truth about why he is so harsh/his work? He is scared of how Sun may view him differently and the consequences that her father may enact if he tries to leave.

Does Kate like Sawyer? Yes, somewhat. It is a bit unclear if she ever romantically loved him. I think overall the show points towards a deeper connection between her and Jack.

Who did Kate kill? Her stepfather

Who was Kate married to? A cop in Miami. She also previously loved a doctor who was a childhood friend. I think these are interesting connections to Sawyer and Jack.

How does Sawyer know the doctor's dad? Sawyer met Jack's dad in bar in Australia

How did the doctor's dad die? Christian died somehow related to his alcoholism. He was found in an alley outside the bar and had drank too much.

Did Sawyer go after the loan shark who set him up to kill the wrong guy? No. He did not have time to because shortly after he got on flight 815. There's no indication that he would've. His violence/anger was mainly directed at the real Sawyer.

What do the numbers mean? Not super sure about this one but I'm sure there's lots of theories out there. I personally think it is implied that the lottery and world occurrences before the island were just coincidence. On the island Jacob may have influenced there presence to be more common. They are a code to release EM pulse so it does not build up too strong. They are on the bunker possibly as a marker of the code or as coordinates. They are also associated by Jacob with identifying the candidates.

Who broadcasted the numbers originally? The broadcast, the one heard by the man that led to Hurley hearing them in the mental institution, came from the entering of the code into the computer in the Swan Station. Whenever this happened, these numbers were somehow sent out.

Where is the power source? I don't know that the source of the power Rousseau mentions is ever fully explained but it becomes insignif

Keep in mind, my son is 4 years old, so everything is an original to him.

I had to work late into the evening yesterday, and he was just going to bed when I got home. I had left home for the office nearly 14 hours prior, had a long day, lots of meetings, traffic, etc.

When I walked through the door, I was exhausted, run down, and starving. My wife hugged me and asked how my day was, and I replied, "Done. It was a good day, but has got me exhausted. I just want to grab a bite and go to bed. I'm hungry."

From my son's bedroom, I hear him shout, "Hi Hungry! Nice to meet you!"

Not only did it make me laugh, but I completely forgot about how hungry and tired I was. I went to his bedroom, and we laughed together about it. It was exactly what I needed.
