Good Crepe Recipie?
Hey there
I've tried making crepes before, bit they end up too thick or thin. I also want to know some good batter recipes and some fillings that go good inside crepes.
My technique is pretty bad, usually ends up as a breakfast gyro. I need to improve it. Any tips?
Good Crepe recipes and directions are welcome.

Made these sourdough crepes from the discard that I've saved up in the fridge. Ended up tasting really good! Made them a little bit too thick, but now I know that for next time. Filled mine with brown cheese (with homemade strawberry jam and guava pure on the side) and the other with smoked salmon

Does anyone have a good old crepe recipe?
My wife lost her mรฉmรจre while she was in the military over a decade ago now. Her mem used to make crepes all the time that she loved. She asked her mom for the recipe years ago and she gave us a recipe that had, and I kid you not, multiple cups of sugar for a really small amount of batter. They were chewy and sweet and awful and clearly not the recipe and her mom admitted it wasn't really mem's recipe and no one knew it. I have tried tons of different recipes and never found one that reminded her of her mem's. I was wondering if anyone else had any mรฉmรจres' or grandmas and maybe have a crepe recipe they might share? If I can't find her mรฉmรจres recipe, maybe a mรฉmรจre's recipe might be good? Maybe there is some old timey trick or ingredient that modern recipes don't use? Thanks to anyone who has any advice or recipes.

First time using my lodge crepe pan! I am excited to say I loved it! I smoothed and seasoned it myself, so it was a bit of an experiment and I donโt know if the process made it an better, but it surely didnโt harm it so thatโs good for me!

How do they make crepes so good in the restaurant???
I make thin crepes all the time and have used more than 10 recipes but they all taste pretty much the same. But whenever I order plain crepes from a restaurant and add syrup they taste SOOOOO good. What Iโm the hell am I doing wrong? I can cook them pretty well with my crepe pan but thy just donโt taste the greatest. Has anyone worked in a creperie that knows what secret techniques or recipes they use?

Got these crepe myrtles today. 10 feet tall. They were stored close together at the nursery with other trees, so theyโre very leggy. What can I do to help them thrive? itโs not usually, but is pruning back a good idea here? They also seem to have a bacterial fungus. North Texas.
