A list of puns related to "Golden Era Productions"
They gave me a callback but I had to fill out forms for their production and their Covid regulations. It was only then that I realized it was the Church of Scientology. Has anyone had experience doing a film for them? They are paying but honestly, Iβm nervous to go on set and also nervous about the forms I just emailed themβ¦ I canβt unsend my emails π₯Ί
I know the technology has advanced a bit in the last 8 yrs, and I know that the man is persona non grata, likely for good reason.
But I just A/B'd Kim Petras "heart to break" against Katy Perry's "Teenage Dream" and it's nuts.
It's actually nuts. Obviously Teenage Dream was phenomenally successful and a great piece of songwriting but...it sounds like a Casio demo compared to this Kim Petras track.
And I turned down the Kim Petras track by like 20% to try and get the loudness to match. Still night and day.
He's obviously been putting his time as an exile into honing his craft even further

I thought this would be an interesting subject to hear from the r/MagicTCG community on. This is a question for veteran players (i.e. players that have been playing for 5+ years).
For veteran Magic players, what 2-3 year time period do you consider to be the golden era of Magic? Which specific factors about Magic during that era made the game such an enjoyable experience?
The factors that determine which time period was the golden era of Magic are subjective, but to help foster discussion, here are some factors to consider:
Does anybody know what production software and hardware Sophie used during her motherland era?
...Not so much. As of late, I've really been enjoying Dream Theater's newest album, and it's given me a chance to reflect on the previous albums in their catalogue. I went back to Images & Words, and it's still my favourite Dream Theater album. I went back to Falling Into Infinity, and it's still my second-favourite. I listened to Awake and still had a good time, though it's not quite up there with the others.
And then I listened back to Scenes From A Memory, and... this album doesn't do it for me as much as it used to. Something about the way the drums feel so overbearing in the mix really bother me now, and it puts the bass and keyboards further back so that I have to strain to actually hear them unless they're soloing. I used to adore this album, it was my third favourite Dream Theater album for the longest time, but now I feel as though it's lost its lustre to my ears.
To be clear, I still like it. There isn't a Dream Theater album I dislike, really. But over time, I feel like the flaws in it are showing through to me more and more. If I go back to this album, I find myself drawn more to the Distant Memories version, because I feel as though it's executed better there than it was in the studio. But even then... I still find the story pretty contrived and nonsensical. I mean, why does the hypnotherapist need to kill Nicholas at the end? I always hear the "complete the cycle" bullshit, because Edward was reincarnated as the hypnotherapist, but why does he need to complete the cycle? Nicholas and Victoria, despite sharing the same spirit, are clearly established to be two separate characters, each with separate goals. So why does the hypnotherapist exhibit the same desire to kill Victoria by murdering Nicholas? Is it because Nicholas found out who killed Victoria? Well if that were the case, what exactly could Nicholas do with that information? If he brought it to the press, no one would believe him because he found it out through regression therapy. That's hardly a reliable piece of evidence or testimony, so there's no threat that Nicholas poses to the hypnotherapist. In addition to that, Nicholas doesn't even know the hypnotherapist is a reincarnation of Edward, so he can't even indict the hypnotherapist. There is literally no impact on the hypnotherapist's life if Nicholas lives knowing the truth. But then suppose Nicholas didn't figure out the truth - suppose he returned to reality still thinking Julian murdered Victoria. Then the hy
