Hey there! I was looking to build a budget pc by next month and I just remembered that gitex was coming around in October. So will we be getting pc parts for atleast retail price? And will it be worth the extra 2 months of waiting?
I saw online that Gitex Shopper was scheduled for 30 March - 3 April, but there are no updates after that. Did it get postponed again?

Business owners in the group - is it worthwhile to be part of Gitex from customer acquisition point of view ? Or its more suited to finding distributors and resellers? How has it been in your experience
A few startups I know/met , feel that itβs not beneficial and that itβs too big a place where small firms might get lost under the might of large global brand stalls and exhibits

What is the current status of Gitex shopper 2020. It was first postponed to 3-7 Oct, but now on the website it shows 'Next Edition 2021'. So is it cancelled this year?
Hello people of Dubai,
Myself and a few colleagues will be visiting Dubai from New Zealand to attend the GITEX event, and due to a series of unfortunate events we are no longer able to source the lithium batteries we need for our platform in time.
I've previously reached out to a lot of different marine suppliers trying to find something that will suit our needs that are in stock locally, but time is now running out and I thought I would try my luck with the good people of Reddit.
We currently use 2x SNL12V20S LiFePO4 batteries in Series to get 25.6V, 20Ah (512Wh).Β We need the fullΒ 25.6V nominal and only have the physical space for 500-600Wh in our battery boxes. The closest thing I was able to find that was stocked in Dubai was the MLS 12/260 from Exalto-Emirates, but these do not allow Series operation as we need.
We're essentially looking at not being able to operate our systems at GITEX now, so I'm open to any leads that might help us get up and running. I really appreciate any help anyone can provide!

So I decide to browse Noon today, wow, lots of big discounts ! I don't need something atm but lets see !
So first thing my sight lands on the Samsung A70 listed for 1449 and discounted to 1202 (wow, big discount) plus you use a code and get an additional 50 Dhs off, exciting eh ?
But guess what ? I bought this same phone from the same seller and the same color back in August for 1112 Dhs (That's 40 Dhs cheaper than the current price after all discounts/codes).
Just beware and don't get tricked !
