A list of puns related to "Giggs"
When I was 7 or 8 in the early 90s, I remember the TV being briefly awash with adverts for the RYAN GIGGS BALL. This was basically a football attached to a pair of snazzy 90s wraparound sunglasses by an elastic cord. So that you could do easy kickups or whatever.
I got my mum to buy me one as I mistakenly thought that the glasses could track my eye movement and Iโd be able to control the ball just by looking, which is obviously 100% impossible but I was a 7 year old idiot. So after a few disappointed and bored attempts at keepy-uppy, I decided to boot the ball as far as I could to see what happened. This resulted in the elastic detaching from the ball and pinging back and giving me a nasty mark on my face.
My mum was furious and took a load of pictures and sent them off to Mattel, and the end result was me getting this fucking massive crate sent filled with Mighty Maxes, the entire Thundercats range including the cat car thing, and loads of Ninja turtle stuff. It was amazing.
The weird thing is though, I canโt find a scrap of evidence anywhere that this product ever existed, except in my head. Iโm starting to think this is a Berenstein Bears style situation
I assume I wasnโt the only bellend to injure themselves with the product so I guess it was recalled and cancelled, but weird thereโs no mention of it on Google.
Does anyone else remember it?
Interviewer: "Are you cool with being put into that category - as a UK Rapper?"
Giggs: "Yeah yeah course, cuz I make Rap music, and I'm from the UK."
Interviewer: "But other people, what about now, some people aren't cool with that, that categorizing, you know what I mean?"
Giggs: "Yeah they call it Grime innit. That's cuz people are fucking stupid, how can you not know what's rap, and what's grime."
I don't like how he sounds normally. But his voice was slow, deep and chill in this track. Does he have more tracks with this style? Or has he just discovered this way of performing?
