A list of puns related to "Georgian Golden Age"
The country of Georgia is situated in the Caucasus Mountains on the Black Sea with Azerbaijan separating it from the Caspian Sea and has always held significant ties to Greece and Turkey, being controlled by Persia for a sizeable part of its history. During the crusades, its golden age began with Demetrius I and George III, alleged descendants of King David from the bible. In 1177, during the reign of George III, his nephew Demna claimed the throne and began an uprising as a pretender. George quickly subdued the rebellion, and attempting to stop another, he made his daughter, Tamar, co-ruler in 1178. Upon her fatherโs death, her aunt pushed for her to become the first sole Queen of Georgia in 1184.
Under influence from her Aunt, Rusudan, Tamar elevated Michael IV to the archbishop, though a year later would fail to remove him from office using a church-led synod. Around the same time, she was married to Yury Bogolyubsky, a prince from Novgorod. Soon after his marriage to her, he began to cheat on and beat his wife, but within a few years, Michael IV died (perhaps an assassination or failed protection). See, by around this time, Tamarโs influence had begun to grow, and she came into her own as a leader. It was also in the late 1180s that she met David Soslan. With Michaelโs death around 1187-1188, she replaced him with a loyal archbishop, Anton Gnolistavisdze. That year, she divorced Yury, exiling him, and married David.
In 1191 Azerbaijan, a functional client state of Georgia, a civil war broke out, leading David to lead a decisive campaign throughout Azerbaijan at Barda, Erzurum, Geghark'unik', Beylaqan and Ganja. While David was at war, Yury came back to Georgia to declare a rebellion in 1191, and many of the nobles disgraced by Tamar and her father joined him. One of the few who stayed with Tamar was Gamrekeli Toreli who led forces against Yury at Tmogvi and Erusheti. During the latter battle, Gamrekeli captured Yury, who was pardoned by Tamar only to immediately rebel again in 1193 and be captured at Kambechani, where he was imprisoned and then was likely killed.
By 1195, the Dynastic War in Azerbaijan had been won by Abu Bakr and had his elder brother Quntluq Inandj assassinated. His younger brother, Amir, fled to his rival's Akhsitan's court, where the two made their way to [Tbilisi](https://cdn.ca.emap.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/12/2010/09/AR10_V

Do you know of any Georgian wines that you can buy and then store for a decade or more, and have a great tasting wine?
Right now the Strawhats have got to the point where Luffy becoming pirate king is actually within the realm of possibility. Our heroes are stronger than they have ever been and each chapter is getting more and more hype. We have got some wonderful years left with this manga ahead of us and Iโm looking forward to every moment of it.
But then it will end. And undoubtedly it will be one of the greatest if not the greatest moment in Manga history.
But after that, what? More movies maybe. The live action series might actually turn out pretty good and still be going. The dreaded spinoffs. But none of it will compare to that latest chapter giving you an injection of lore and new character moments that we are experiencing right now.
So enjoy it while it lasts. Everything ends one day and we rarely get a chance to reflect on things while we are experiencing them.
*edit to address people saying the Enies Lobby through to Marineford and early timeskip as being the golden era. I agree, especially when you look at Manga sales. So letโs just just say we are entering a new golden era (much like in the ONE PIECE world.) still doesnโt change the fact that the final few arcs from now on is gonna be some of the craziest shit we have ever seen.
I really feel this update put things in a place where we're basically seeing that everything works, there's richness in features to explore, there's still room to experiment, everyone basically feels satisfied with their pokemon and the pokemon they match up against and overall we're all just having an insanely good blast of a time. Pretty confident Season 02 will go down as one of the Golden Ages of this game

Hey r/UnresolvedMysteries! Long time no see.
I'm back again with another benign mystery. I worked on and off on this for quite a while and found the research really interesting.
As always here is THE VIDEO VERSION for those who prefer it. I always try to make these with as little fluff as possible.
Imagine, if you will, you are a town-dwelling early 17th century European. Throughout your lifetime you have been exposed to wonderfully crafted paintings in what would be known as the baroque period.
As you leave the local tavern, walking the cobblestone paved streets home, perhaps familiar with locally renowned painters like Rembrandt, el Greco and Breughel, you catch a glimpse of something strange.
You spot a painting, not just any painting. A piece of art unlike anything you've ever seen before.
An indoor scene, details exquisitely placed, natural lightning that mimics the sun peering through your own windows. Truly a portal in to someone's life that seems indistinguishable from real life, as if a photograph taken centuries before the invention of the modern camera.
NOT JUST AN INTERPRETATION
In the 17th century, during what would be known as the Baroque period, important themes in art were emotional states, often dramatic and exaggerated. A sense of grandeur, drama, vitality and extreme movements. Paintings in a baroque style, as the word itself implies, did not ascribe to the regular or immaculate but would rather try to illicit an emotional response.
However, at around 1650 something changed. Some artists, mainly situated in the Netherlands almost overnight learned how to paint with the most exquisite of detail and perfect lighting, as if they had sold their soul to the devil in exchange for unprecedented artistry.
Perhaps the most famous of those artists was Johannes Vermeer. When I say famous in regards to Vermeer, I am actually referring to his paintings, not the man himself.
In fact, very little is known about this illustrious artist. His exact date of birth is unknown. As is the fact in how he gained his amazing painting skills.
In the 1600s in Holland, it was customary as an artist to train under masters. Which master you trained under could lend credence to your own skill

In a bloody conflict at his door, two wounded man, one a Georgian and one a Chechen, are left behind, and Ivo takes them in. This is more than a story of war; it is a story of understanding and humanity.
The last year or two it's really felt like there's never been higher quality versions of media online quicker. 4K rips of big movies often out within 2-4 weeks of theatrical release, most non-Nintendo video games eventually getting a PC release and therefore cracked etc.
I've found myself spending a lot less money on media recently basically because stuff is being pirated quicker and easier.
Different countries have different golden ages. Victoria III starts in the middle of the danish golden age. I have written this, because the 1836โs Denmark is interesting, being both one of the most progressive countries in Europe, while also having one of if not the most absolute ruler. To understand why there is a golden age, we first need to talk about agriculture reforms. A talk about agriculture reforms is a talk about Frederik VI and to talk about Frederik VI we need to talk about Christian VII.
Before that though I have to point out that I am not a historian. I have omitted details, both to save time on the post and to build a kind of narrative.
The Mad King and enlightenment reforms
Christian VII became the absolute monarch of Denmark at the age of 17 in 1766. The young king had several severe mental health problems and while he in theory was the absolute ruler of the realm, in practice he was controlled by the nobles in his council.
During an international travel he meet Johan Struensee. Struensee was a trained physician, well educated and a firm believer in the ideals of the enlightenment. Struensee had a good relation to the king and seemed to be able to handle his mental health issues well, so he became his personal physician.
Over a few years Struensee was able to get the king's trust, disband the council that was controlling the king and instead put himself in charge of the country. Together with a small group of radical progresive Struensee reformed the hell out of Denmark like only a well educated man with unlimited power and no fear of backlash could do it. The bureaucracy was simplified. Ineffective nobles were fired from their positions and the government was made into a meritocracy. Much of Denmark was reorganised in a way that made it simpler for the central government to rule and control the country. On top of that the army was reorganised. The nobility lost many of their privileges. Freedom of press was introduced and then limited. Educational reforms. Healthcare reforms. Poverty reforms. Tarif reforms. Police reforms, limiting the power of the police In the span of a year and a half Struensee and his small group of enlightened friends made more than two thousand cabinet orders.
Such a quick and radical change in the society ensured that Struensee had enemies absolutely everywhere. From the nobility and clergy to farmers and workers. On top of all of this Struensee started having a romantic relationship with the queen.

But with the hype of Fords up and coming vehicles could they be entering an all new golden era? The Bronco has gained massive amounts of attention and looks like it will sell well. Finally there is a competitor to the Popular Jeep Wrangler again. Even the Bronco Sport seems to be popular. The Maverick which has recently been released also offers a cheaper alternative to those that may want a pickup but arenโt looking to drop 50k. If it is like the old Ranger Iโm assuming these will be pretty popular as well. Bringing back these names definitely is interesting and I hope it takes off.

Hi, Legends!
Jesse Quick: The Golden Age Daughter and Naomi McDuffie: Powerhouse are coming this February to join DC Legends! Along with them are February reworks: Arsenal: Roy Harper & Atom: The Worldโs Smallest Hero.
JESSE QUICK: THE GOLDEN AGE DAUGHTER
Jesse Chambers became Jesse Quick thanks to the use of the Speed Force Formula, taught by her father Johnny Quick, and her super-strength, inherited by her mother Liberty Bell. After studying the past of superheroes in Gotham University and managing her father's company, Quickstart Enterprises, she adopted her own super-heroine identity to fight back supervillain threats, combining the best of her parent's inherited skills.
Jesse combines speed and strength to swiftly maneuver between her enemies and execute deadly punches.
NAOMI MCDUFFIE: POWERHOUSE
Naomi is the only child born to a couple of meta-humans from an alternate universe. She was targeted by a criminal called Zumbado and sent to Earth-0 by her parents to save her life. On this new planet, she was discovered and adopted by the McDuffie family and lived normally until an encounter with Superman awoke doubts about her own origins.
Naomi is a young fighter, raised ignorant of her powers, and as such, she attacks with raw strength and explosive damage-focused energy bursts.
ARSENAL: ROY HARPER
Orphaned at a young age, Roy Harper was raised in an Indian reservation by Brave Bow, who taught him how to shoot with bow and arrow. Oliver Queen would eventually meet Roy and witness his archery skills, inviting him to be his ward. Roy would become his crime-fighting partner Speedy, named as such because he was faster than Green Arrow himself. After several adventures with his mentor and the Titans, he would take up a new name: Arsenal.
Arsenal weakens and blinds his enemies with incredible speed, attacking again when they start to miss.
ATOM: THE WORLDโS SMALLEST HERO
Working on shrinking technology based on a piece of White Dwarf Star matter, Ray Palmer managed to create a device that allowed him to shrink to an incredibly small size. Even if it started just as scientific research, Ray decided to use his new skills to fight crime and start a superhero career. His adventures have taken him from discovering a tiny alien civilization in the Amazon to being part of the Justice League, and even
