A list of puns related to "Georges Mathieu"
I'm going to post the first round here, and link to the full draft (9 trades and 4 rounds) for those who want to look at the entire thing. Jameson Williams' injury and finding out a few players have announced their return to college over the past several days has caused some last minute changes so if the player drafted under the Rounds sheets doesn't match the player in the "Draft Picks by Team" sheet, please let me know.
To see the full 4 rounds, click here!
Jacksonville Jaguars - OT Evan Neal, Alabama - This pick will depend on what Jacksonville does in the offseason. If they re-sign Cam Robinson, than drafting another tackle doesn't make sense and instead they will look at one of the top two edge rushers. However, if Robinson is allowed to leave and Taylor slides over to LT, the Jaguars will be in need of a new RT. Enter Neal, an absolute unit of a man who will use his strength to bully any defender who lines up across from him. Neal played both LT and RT in college, but projects best as a RT in the NFL.
Detroit Lions - EDGE Aidan Hutchinson, Michigan - The Lions are in a position where they could can go BPA with all of their picks and no matter who they take, it will probably fill an area of need. Whether Hutchinson or Thibodeaux is the better player will be hotly debated leading up to the draft. With the #2 overall pick the Lions go with the local kid in Hutchinson. I believe he offers a little more versatility when it comes to where he can line up on the field, which will allow the Lions DC some more flexibility with his defensive packages.
Houston Texans - EDGE Kayvon Thibodeaux, Oregon - Houston will be happy with whomever is available at #3 because they can't go wrong with any of the players. Thibodeaux is an excellent pass rusher, and will be needed on a team that was one of the worst at sacking the QB in the NFL this past season. And he's not a one trick pony, Thibodeaux is also adept at stopping the run and has improved his tackling in open space.
New York Jets - S Kyle Hamilton, Notre Dame - The New York Jets need a lot of help on defense. Kyle Hamilton might just be the best player in this draft, and has enough talent and skill to offer the Jets a lot of versatility in their defensive schemes. If the Jets want Hamilton to play in the box, line up at nickel, rush the passer, or play deep coverage, he will do it and do

New York Giants
Out: GM Dave Gettleman, OC Freddie Kitchens (Interim)
In: GM Dave Ziegler, OC Adam Stenavich
Fans have been unhappy with Gettleman for years, and it seems like ownership is finally catching up. The Maras also seem content with holding on to former Patriots ST Coach Joe Judge as their locker room leader. If that is the case, it makes sense to bring in somebody Judge is already familiar with in Ziegler, the current Patriots' Director of Player Personnel. The 44-year-old is a Patriot through and through. He was college teammates with Nick Caserio (who he replaced following Caserio's move to Houston) and Josh McDaniels (under whom he was a scout in Denver). He has cut his teeth under Belichick, spending the last 9 years in the scouting department in New England. In his first year without the "assistant" being tagged onto his job title, Ziegler added key free agents in Kendrick Bourne, Matt Judon, and Hunter Henry. He also oversaw one of the best draft classes in recent Patriot history with Mac Jones a favorite to win ROTY on top of inspiring play from Christian Barmore and Rhamondre Stevenson.
In addition to Ziegler, Packers' OL Coach Adam Stenavich joins as the new offensive coordinator. A bit of an unknown name, Stenavich is a former NFL player that has really made the most of his coaching opportunities. With Green Bay, he has overseen a revolving door of elite late round picks at OL, from Corey Linsley to David Bakhtiari to Yosh Nijman. In 2021, the Packers have seen countless injury along the line yet still have maintained an elite unit. Prior to Green Bay, Stenavich was on Shanahan's staff in San Francisco, coaching the likes of Joe Staley, Mike McGlinchey, and Weston Richburg. While Stenavich is unproven as a playcaller, he has worked under two of the best young offensive minds in the game. On top of his promising resume, his area of expertise is one the Giants desperately need help with. Other than Andrew Thomas, the Giants' OL has been an endless pile of poop covered garbage.
Chicago Bears
Out: GM Ryan Pace, HC Matt Nagy, OC Bill Lazor, DC Sean DeSai

###Course
Happy first work day of 2022! Why not start the year of right by skiving off to watch some cyclocross while you work from home? (and if you want to go all the way, why not watch the Elfstedentocht as well? Echelons!).
Gullegem isn't part of any classification and started the way races should: a couple of friends got drunk together and someone had the idea to start a cyclocross race. Though it's not the biggest race (also shown by it only being on Sporza), they've managed to get some big names on the start list in previous years and continue that this year.
The course itself is not too challenging as the course is set up in a park where they can't just create new artificial washboards or hills. They have managed to put in a sandpit though.
Forecast: 8°C and lots of rain and mud, what more do you need in cyclocross?
###Women's race
Not a lot of big names, but with Shirin van Anrooij, Inge van der Heijden, Maghalie Rochette, Anna Kay, Marion Norbert-Riberolle and Zoe Backstedt, there's a good number of riders who've podiumed or have been regular top 10 riders in the bigger races this year. Van Anrooij has looked the best in recent races (and has been in the top 10 of every race she started in the last two and a half months) so she'll be a favourite for the win today.
###Men's race
The organisers managed to sign up a bigger name on the men's side in Tom Pidcock. Rumour has it he's not travelling back to the UK for nationals this weekend, and him adding this race to his programme might back that up a bi
Welcome back to our regular series: Top Ten Tuesday! After taking a break for the new year to regain some energy we're ready for an exciting new season of racing over the coming months!
Let's begin the 2022 TTT series with a potentially erroneous list of "People most commonly mentioned in r/peloton post titles over the past year"! This list was compiled by searching for people's last names and common nicknames or abbreviations (Loulou, WVA, AVV, etc), sorting by "Relevance" and "Last Year", and then just counting the entries that were relevant. I may have missed out on a rider because we didn't think of them, or perhaps we forgot a nickname or two, so if you believe someone is missing just do a search and let us know in the comments!
Rank | Person | Thread Count | Notes |
---|---|---|---|
1 | Wout van Aert | 45 | 39 for "Van Aert" and 6 for "WvA" |
2 | Mark Cavendish | 40 | 39 for "Cavendish" and 1 for just "Cav" (0 for "Can") |
3 | Patrick Lefevere | 40 | -- |
4 | Mathieu Van der Poel | 39 | 34 for "Van der Poel" and 5 for "MVDP" (one or two might have been for Adrie alone... I'm not going back to recount) |
5 | Remco Evenepoel | 38 | 33 for "Evenepoel" and 5 for just "Remco" |
6 | Tadej Pogačar | 38 | -- |
7 | Chris Froome | 26 | -- |
8 | Peter Sagan | 24 | Perhaps someone can check if any Juraj-only posts got counted? |
9 | Egan Bernal | 23 | -- |
10 | Sam Bennett | 21 | There were another 9 "Bennett"s referring to George Bennett |
And there you have it. Not sure what to do with that but there it is! Some other riders searched for, in order of their count include: Alaphilippe, Dumoulin, Roglic, Pidcock, Pinot, Jakobsen, Nibali (combined bros), Almeida, Thomas (controlled for only Geraint), van der Breggen, van Veluten, Yates (combined bros), and Hirschi. Some surprises that came after this list include: Angel Lopez, Uttrup Ludwig, Ganna, Colbrelli, Padun, Quintana, and Merckx. I did not search for Armstrong, although I guess I probably should have.

I know that they most likely moved between 1863 and 1866 due to the birth places of their children, leaning more towards 1866 due to the civil war.
I am just wondering what resources there are available to find out more information about this, much of the information I can find is about Quebec -> New England migration.

I don't want to step on anybody's toes here, but the amount of non-dad jokes here in this subreddit really annoys me. First of all, dad jokes CAN be NSFW, it clearly says so in the sub rules. Secondly, it doesn't automatically make it a dad joke if it's from a conversation between you and your child. Most importantly, the jokes that your CHILDREN tell YOU are not dad jokes. The point of a dad joke is that it's so cheesy only a dad who's trying to be funny would make such a joke. That's it. They are stupid plays on words, lame puns and so on. There has to be a clever pun or wordplay for it to be considered a dad joke.
Again, to all the fellow dads, I apologise if I'm sounding too harsh. But I just needed to get it off my chest.

The first of 18 NFL weeks is now in the rear-view mirror and while we don’t want to overreact to what we saw, there are some things that we were able to learn. Therefore – just like I did last year – I put together a list of three takeaways that I have coming out of all 16 games. Some of these may concern an individual player, a coach, a position group or a team as a whole. Obviously, there would more things to point out here, but for the purpose of this exercise, I chose the ones that were most apparent to me.
This is what I took away:
1. Dak Prescott is not 100%, but he’s still a baller
It’s good see Dak back out there. While I expected Dallas to struggle trying to run the ball, I didn’t think the coaching staff would actually let him drop back 62 total times, coming off foot surgery and kind of a mysterious shoulder injury. However, that’s what the game demanded and Prescott was awesome, with a questionable missed offensive pass interference call being what kept his team from probably beating the Super Bowl champs at their place. Now, there was clearly some limitations to his mobility, as I didn’t see some of that quick-twitch athleticism inside the pocket and then to actually take advantage of when there was space to run, and I thought he didn’t quite have the zip on the ball that we’re accustomed to seeing from him, but this guy’s already back to being a top ten quarterback, with room to move up.
2. The Bucs offense is loaded with pass-catchers
This isn’t news to anybody, but I believe Tampa’s receiving corp could actually be significantly better than last year. Godwin looks like a PPR-monster for fantasy purposes whose toughness and physicality make him their designated YAC threat, AB can still dust corners with impeccable footwork and was great at tracking the ball down the field and Gronk might barely crack the five-second mark in the 40-yard dash at this point of his career, but him knowing exactly how Brady wants him to adjust on the fly and the way he can still tank forward make him a valuable piece. Evans was actually kind of the odd man out and looked a little banged up, but he’ll have better days ahead. And I haven’t even mentioned Scotty Miller as a guy to take deep shots towards, their TE1 until he got hurt last year

Dad jokes are supposed to be jokes you can tell a kid and they will understand it and find it funny.
This sub is mostly just NSFW puns now.
If it needs a NSFW tag it's not a dad joke. There should just be a NSFW puns subreddit for that.
Edit* I'm not replying any longer and turning off notifications but to all those that say "no one cares", there sure are a lot of you arguing about it. Maybe I'm wrong but you people don't need to be rude about it. If you really don't care, don't comment.
I won't be doing that today!

What is The Weekly Mock Draft?
As some of you may remember, I posted a mock draft each week of the season last year on my old account. Sadly, I wasn’t able to complete the entire series but I plan on doing it this year. Every Wednesday/Thursday of the season (starting today and ending after Week 18), I will post a mock draft. The order is determined by Tankathon (record and SOS) and will be updated weekly as well. This will be used as a tool to determine how the stocks of the top prospects changed throughout the year and for the fans to have something to look forward to once football games are over for the week. The teams will pick players as if they are drafting today. Enjoy!
1. Houston Texans: Spencer Rattler, QB, Oklahoma
A QB has consistently been the #1 pick since 2018 and I expect that trend to continue in 2022. Deshaun Watson is most likely on his way out Houston amid legal issues and his own discontent with the franchise. Tyrod Taylor is by no means a long-term solution and is only serving as a stopgap, and Davis Mills will need to seriously impress the Texans for any hopes of them passing on QB in this draft. Rattler is coming off a disappointing season opener against Tulane, but a player can’t be judged based one on game and the Oklahoma QB possess the necessary skills worthy of the top pick.
2. Detroit Lions: Sam Howell, QB, North Carolina
While I am a firm believer that Jared Goff is not truly a terrible QB, I do expect him to be among the worst starters in the league. His receiving group is very unfavorable and it will come as no surprise if he ends up being the ultimate scapegoat for Detroit’s woes. Like Rattler, Howell started the season on a weak note, and I similarly expect him to come back to form as the season progresses and be a top pick consideration.
3. New York Jets: Derek Stingley Jr., CB, LSU
Stingley Jr. is arguably the best prospect in the upcoming draft and he fits exactly what the Jets need: a talented CB that can start right away. The Jets will be starting Brandin Echols and Bryce Hall, two late-round picks in the past two years. I find it hard to imagine either one of them making a big enough impact to deter the team from selecting a replacement.
4. Jacksonville Jaguars: DeMarvin Leal, DT, Texas A&M
The Jaguars defensive line starters are all under contract until at least 2023, but none of them are particularly as dangerous as Leal. He boasts versatility along the defensive line and comes equi
