Hey, so I’m doing a 5000 word essay on the 5 families and who were the most powerful (I’m arguing for Genovese) and atm I’m writing about crime however I could either just be bad at researching on the internet or there’s little to nothing on the crime they’ve done like more specifically. If it’s ok can someone tell me information on the various crimes they did

On opposite sides of the Mediterranean, the clouds of battle gather. The Caliph of Tunisia reaches out to a friend, while the Genoan fleet prepares for a great crossing. By the end of June, both sides have assembled their respective forces and it is on July 1st that Andrea Doria sets sail from Genoa to the port of Bastia with a fleet of some 74 galleys and 6 frigates.

Andrea Doria, the seasoned admiral that he is, knows well the storm patterns common to the Mediterranean and his decision to set out in the month of July is a prudent one. His journey from Genoa, onto Bastia, then to Cagliari, and finally to the port of Palermo is accompanied by the glassy seas traveled by many-a-man before him. It takes Doria only a week to reach the port of Palermo. From this position, he sails south intending to pass between the lands of Tunis and the isle of Pantelleria where unbeknownst to him lies the combined navy of the Caliph and his ally Barbarossa lie in wait…

Another thing he’s suspicious of is a possible presence of the Hafsid navy due west of his current position based in the port of Tunis. In an effort to avoid detection, Doria decides to skirt around the view of Tunis and stays on the periphery, closer to the island of Pantelleria.

This of course turns out to be an error, and the watchtowers of Pantelleria easily spot the Genoese Fleet as they skirt close to the island. [84 + 15 = 99] With how smoothly spotting the Genoan Navy went, Barbarossa is quickly able to estimate that at minimum Doria has 65 ships out there and he figures a maximum of 95. With his Coalition fleet of 130, he’s looking at a minimum advantage of 35 ships and a maximum advantage of 65. With this in mind, Barbarossa had a decision to make. He could pursue the Genoese and hope he doesn’t get spotted until their army has offloaded onto the shore of wherever they’re going, or he could hang back in Pantelleria out of sight of the Genoese fleet, hope that whatever fort they’re assaulting doesn’t fall before he can get there, and also hoping the Genoese fleet hasn’t fled by that same time.

The Doge personally dispatches requests for ships and troops to those among the League Of Liguria which was formed in the aftermath of the Italian wars for the safe of mutual defense. Those included are the following:

Genoa's resolve would remain unshaken and firm in the face of yet another Italian aggressor.

While I'm all very happy that apes are finally doing the DRS through ComputerShare (and I wish I could do the same from France -- the only country that's left outside).

I think it's probably the way to initiate the MOASS, and own/reduce the "real" float leaving no room for lending shares.

I think we cracked the code... yet, there's a big risk of killing the momentum.... and I would do the same if I were a SHF.

If I were a SHF, I would make shills post tons and tons and tons of screenshots of registering/transfering/buying their shares through ComputerShare.

This way, it would trigger a very well known effect in psychology called the "Bystander effect".

For example, you see an accident on the road, you see dozen of people around you, and.. you move on. You're saying to yourself "nah, it's good, people in front of me have probably called for help already".

The more the people, the more the bystander effect happens. There's a lot of studies on it, based mainly of the very well known case of the murder of Kitty Genovese.

The poor woman, screamed, shouted, yelled all the way... at least 38 people interacted with her, yet... no one called the police. Everyone thought the next person had already done it.

Imagine we are not 38, but 600K+ people in here. It's even worse and this is the big risk in here. If ComputerShare DRS is really the MOASS. Then by flooding the sub with many-many-many people doing that.... you might think "nah, I'm good, no need to do that, other apes are already doing it".

That's how they can fuck us, big time.

It's only my 2 cents and of course, not saying all the apes posting their registration are shills. I deeply thank you for your service and would do the same if I could from here.

But no one should think that it's "enough", because the SHF could win very-very big this way.

A few days ago my girlfriend and I spent some days in Genova. She loves pesto, and we found a restaurant (Modo 21 in Piazza Cavour) which had one of the best pestos she has ever had. Unfortunately, due to flying with Ryanair, we couldn't buy some pesto to bring to Spain.

I've thought to surprise her for these holidays and gift her some of this pesto, but unfortunately, as far as I've been looking, they don't do home delivery (much less to Spain I guess).

Seriously the Genovese family needs to be changed. They named the family after one of the worst bosses the family ever had. What it really should be called is the Luciano family. Hell I'd be okay with it even being called the Costello family, Salerno family, or even the Gigante family. But calling it the Genovese family after Vito Genovese was such a disaster of a crime boss is insulting.
