A list of puns related to "Gennifer Hutchison"
On this week's episode of How I Write, Gennifer Hutchison (Breaking Bad) joins our host, Al Horner, and reveals how deadlines unlock her creativity, why the trick to first drafts is to let your characters βspeak the subtextβ of each scene and how you block out the noise when youβre writing a show thatβs five seasons deep and hurtling towards a conclusion that millions of viewers are all deeply invested in.
"The types of stories I love to write tend to be stories about normal people in really extraordinary situations⦠I like things that are kind of totally weird or different," she says in the episode.
How I Write features a new screenwriter every Friday. Previous guests include David Gordon Green (Halloween Kills), Misha Green (Lovecraft Country), and Jim Cummings (Thunder Road).

Iβm back, bitches!
Opening ~ its all good, man. The use of butthole is so weird. Why not say asshole? Anyways, Iβm not gonna lie in that fact that the scam kinda fooled me as well.
Itβs not a bug, itβs a feature ~ the kettlemansβ ability to be gaping assholes is pretty unique. They compare slavery to embezzlement fraud. Enough said. I donβt care how attractive Betty is. She probably sucks the most. These guys think they are fucking innocent? Iβm sorry for my anger
Vince, can I get out of the box? ~ Mike is ordered to get the papers, get the papers.
Cuffed ~ really liked the dialogue here in this scene. Nacho is a smart motherfucker. Jimmy in this scene is the embodiment of βjust when I thought I was out, they pulled me back inβ.
#FreeDylanPeckerwood He ainβt even do nothing π€·ββοΈ
That kimmy girl again ~ her office is just as small as her house and just as messy. Iβm sorry but what the hell? Even Ted is more well off. Actually, Jesse comes off as a lot more wealthy. Howard in the billboard scene seems really like a promising character to come. The billboard itself.....no comment. Also, has the kimmy actress been in anything else besides BCS? She feels familiar or maybe her first gig? Or maybe any guest spots before she reached her peak of BCS?
The Hamlin clone that takes things too personally ~ something about their conversations are so great. Including this one at the nail salon SPa. Iβd say kimmy is my 3rd favorite tied with nacho or maybe slightly above him (first 2 are Jimmy and Mike undeniably). I thought she was gonna be Jimmyβs wife who gets killed before breaking Badβs events (if she does later die, donβt say please).
Trademark Infringement ~ Jimmy, fair use is when Penguinz0 reacts to an article, u kinda stole straight from Howie. This scene is hilarious. I bet Jimmy looked at Howardβs window in the morning to see what suit heβs wearing. And βhamlindigoβ is one of the most creative things Iβve heard all weak. Jimmy, this isnβt David and Goliath....more of the speed of vanilla ice and Queen. The montage that follows really neatly portrays the polished way that βthis isnβt walterβs story....itβs Jimmyβ. HEβS the one with the show on his back. Yes, the other BB boogers come back as well but thatβs to tie in the story.
Dude, the dude: great scene. Jimmy attempting to receive sympathetic points for trying to come off as an indie filmmaker rejected by Spielberg. Then. Some whacky antics occurs. But....staged antics
A stun
... keep reading on reddit β‘What an incredible episode.
I was so worried after last week's ep that Kim was going to just throw all her morality out the window and say screw it, that she was just going to break bad because it would be a shocking twist, regardless of the fact that that's not the Kim Wexler we've all come to know and love. I was terrified that the writing was going to take a nosedive because I could not imagine Kim changing so suddenly like that.
But then here comes our girl Gennifer Hutchison and writes one hell of an episode where Kim not only shows her slippin' side, but still holds on to her morality AND STILL STANDS BY JIMMY despite every cutting thing he says to her. How realistic was that fight on the parking garage BTW? Honest, truthful, hurtful, REAL language and emotion that a couple would have.
Gennifer always, always nails it when it comes to the most poignant Jimmy/Kim moments:
And that's not even mentioning how amazing Lalo's scenes were this episode AND the unbelievable tension that we got from the entire German subplot.
I give total props to Vince for his outstanding direction of this ep but I gotta say BRAVO GENNIFER!!!!
βMy real nameβs McGillβ Quote From Breaking Bad
0pening ~ the soft piano was a nice touch. I appreciated how the camera pans down to a straight face of our protagonist eyeing the camera. Just like when Walter figures out he has been diagnosed with Stage IIIA Lung Cancer. Odenkirk uses his smooth talking ways as always to diffuse the prior coffee spilling situation. Also, the cop who got coffee on him or apparently named Abbasi. When I read that on the captions, i thought of Simon Adebisi. And are the mugshots that they are beneath feature real mugshots?
Itβs me. Your friendly neighbor Ice man ~ how big is the age gap between Jimmy and Chuck? Like 15 - 22 years? My half brother is 20 years older than me so I guess they are like that? Anyways, Chuckie being outside will definitely bring Hell to the streets of ABQ.
I fucked Ted ~ damn. How did Jimmy go from that big ass space to that damn linen closet in 2008? The rise and fall and even faller of McGill will be very interesting. And I agree, Cocobolo is a phenomenal word. It should be the name of the series finale. Kimmy rejecting the offer to be his partner is like a high school break up. Dear Lord. Fade to black.
The kettle team are out the woods ~ the surburban Bonnie and Clyde are both with HH&M still believing theyβre innocence. Everytime Betsy says she is not guilty, I have this damn near uncontrollable urge to garrot her. Carlo Rizzi style. How did Rhea Seehorn manage to not go mad? Iβm sorry but at least the husband is somewhat aware that he is 3.4% guilty. Betsy makes Marie as likable as Mike. Sheβs the damn King Joffrey Baratheon of BCS so far.
Hey! Thatβs the name of the episode! ~ B6. Take your vitamins. Oh! We have a winnner! Lovely young cat lady in the back gets a notebook. Sheβs definitely an s tier character. Up there with Huell if ya ask me. And no disrespect to Odenkirk, but the accent over the phone is becoming slightly worse.
Damn it. The retainer gamers are back ~ the writers kill Hank but they donβt off these goofy goobers (that was a pretty deep joke a lot may not understand). Keypad typing and line beeping. And I love the 25th Hour and The Simpsons. I feel honored of understanding the quips of SauβsorryβJimmy. Betsy is so nerve wracking, even Jimmy almost broke. I bet on the 30K dollars that the kettlemans embezzled that Betsy could probably piss off Dukie from The Wire in under 5 minutes.
I fucked Ted again. I liked it. I was good at it. ~ Kim is moved to

I've got her on my watch list to see if she makes any announcement about her reputed involvement in the project, but some of her latest tweets are quite thought-provoking i.e. particularly in relation to Sauron/Annatar I think.
Yesterday she wrote a Twitter thread on the question of, "How can you apply the idea that people aren't inherently "good" or "bad", but that it's about the choices they make to your writing?
For me, it helps me make my protagonists and antagonists more interesting and layered"

Prime Videoβs Most Anticipated New Series of 2022 Reveals Its Title
THE LORD OF THE RINGS: THE RINGS OF POWER
>CULVER CITY, California βJanuary 19, 2022β Prime Videoβs The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power officially has a name and it hints at whatβs to come.
>
>The television seriesβ complete title was unveiled today, and the significance behind the subtitle will not be lost on J.R.R. Tolkien fans, foreshadowing an epic story that welds the major events of Tolkienβs Second Age together: the forging of the iconic rings.
>
>The multi-season drama β The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power β will premiere exclusively on Prime Video in more than 240 countries around the world in multiple languages on Friday, September 2, with new episodes available weekly.
>
>βThis is a title that we imagine could live on the spine of a book next to J.R.R. Tolkienβs other classics. The Rings of Power unites all the major stories of Middle-earthβs Second Age: the forging of the rings, the rise of the Dark Lord Sauron, the epic tale of NΓΊmenor, and the Last Alliance of Elves and Men,β said Showrunners J.D. Payne & Patrick McKay. βUntil now, audiences have only seen on-screen the story of the One Ring β but before there was one, there were manyβ¦ and weβre excited to share the epic story of them all.β
>
>Just as so many elements of the show itself were hand-crafted, Prime Video chose to physically forge the title in a blacksmith foundry, pouring fiery molten metal into hand-carved wooden ravines shaped to the letterforms. The process was captured in slow motion for a live-action video, which features voice-over narration of lines from Tolkienβs famous βRing Verse,β describing the intended recipients of the 20 Rings of Power. The bespoke title treatment appears crafted in a silvery metal, with lines of Elvish script inscribed along the crest of each letterform.
>
>Lines from Tolkienβs βRing Verseβ featured in the voice-over as part of Prime Videoβs announcement today:
>
>Three Rings for the Elven-kings under the sky,
>
>Seven for the Dwarf-lords in their halls of stone,
>
>Nine for Mortal Men doomed to die,
>
>One for the Dark Lord on his dark throne
>
>In the Land of Mordor where the Shadows lie.

File this under "fairly tenuous" at the moment, but a report is floating around that Netflix has put a TV show based on the DishonoredΒ video game series into development.
The news comes from the geek site Giant Freakin Robot, who have a patchy record when it comes to rumours. However, it also comes eighteen months after experienced TV writer Gennifer Hutchison tweeted that she was a huge fan of the video game series and wanted to write a TV show based on the books.
Hutchison has serious credibility, having been a writer on Breaking BadΒ (for which she won an Emmy, with the rest of the writing staff) and Better Call SaulΒ as well as Amazon's Lord of the RingsΒ prequel series (she also started her career as an assistant on The X-Files). Rumour has it that she's been courted for a showrunner position on several projects in the past but has stayed loyal to Vince Gilligan and the Breaking Bad/Better Call SaulΒ team, but with that franchise wrapping its last season (at least until it was delayed by a medical complaint for star Bob Odenkirk), she appears to be free to take on bigger commitments.
Whether Hutchison is involved in this Netflix project - which may or may not even exist - is unknown, but it'd be a bit odd for a writer of her calibre to notΒ be involved after expressing interest. Also, whilst DishonoredΒ is well-regarded critically, it was not a top-tier, mega-selling video game franchise, and wouldn't be at #1 (or even in the top ten) on the list of video game properties to be turned into a TV show unless a major creative talent wanted to do it.
The DishonoredΒ video game series consists of two mainline entries and three expansions: DishonoredΒ (2012), The Knife of DunwallΒ (2013), The Brigmore WitchesΒ (2013), Dishonored 2Β (2016) and Death of the OutsiderΒ (2017). Set in a fictional world reminiscent of 18th/19th Century Europe, fusing sorcery and steampunk, the story in the games beings with the assassination of the ruler of the Empire of the Isles. Her bodyguard Corvo is framed for the murder by the new Lord Regent, who embarks on a reign of terror whilst keeping the Empress's daughter, Emily, and heir out of sight. Aided by a group of government and military insiders who want to restore Emily to the throne, Corvo breaks out of Coldwine Prison and embarks on a series of d

First of all, dad jokes CAN be NSFW, it clearly says so in the sub rules. Secondly, it doesn't automatically make it a dad joke if it's from a conversation between you and your child. Most importantly, the jokes that your CHILDREN tell YOU are not dad jokes. The point of a dad joke is that it's so cheesy only a dad who's trying to be funny would make such a joke. That's it. They are stupid plays on words, lame puns and so on. There has to be a clever pun or wordplay for it to be considered a dad joke.
Again, to all the fellow dads, I apologise if I'm sounding too harsh. But I just needed to get it off my chest.
Do your worst!
I'm surprised it hasn't decade.
For context I'm a Refuse Driver (Garbage man) & today I was on food waste. After I'd tipped I was checking the wagon for any defects when I spotted a lone pea balanced on the lifts.
I said "hey look, an escaPEA"
No one near me but it didn't half make me laugh for a good hour or so!
Edit: I can't believe how much this has blown up. Thank you everyone I've had a blast reading through the replies π
It really does, I swear!
Because she wanted to see the task manager.
Heard they've been doing some shady business.
BamBOO!
Theyβre on standbi
Pilot on me!!
Christopher Walken
Nothing, he was gladiator.
Or would that be too forward thinking?
Dad jokes are supposed to be jokes you can tell a kid and they will understand it and find it funny.
This sub is mostly just NSFW puns now.
If it needs a NSFW tag it's not a dad joke. There should just be a NSFW puns subreddit for that.
Edit* I'm not replying any longer and turning off notifications but to all those that say "no one cares", there sure are a lot of you arguing about it. Maybe I'm wrong but you people don't need to be rude about it. If you really don't care, don't comment.
but then I remembered it was ground this morning.
Edit: Thank you guys for the awards, they're much nicer than the cardboard sleeve I've been using and reassures me my jokes aren't stale
Edit 2: I have already been made aware that Men In Black 3 has told a version of this joke before. If the joke is not new to you, please enjoy any of the single origin puns in the comments
What did 0 say to 8 ?
" Nice Belt "
So What did 3 say to 8 ?
" Hey, you two stop making out "
When I got home, they were still there.
I won't be doing that today!
