A list of puns related to "Gale Boetticher"
Gale from breaking bad is a perfect INTP. Why isn't he enlisted as one? Or is he not?
(No spoilers for Breaking Bad included)
Have any of you ever tried to make Gale's vegan s'mores from breaking bad? I know they're vegan but I'm vegetarian and can't eat marshmallows anymore because I don't wanna profit off of people eating meat by still eating gelatine so i thought I'd ask if anyone knew if it's actually a solid recipe
Gus had to play on his soft, empathetic nature by telling him Walt was dying of cancer in order get him to accept the idea that Walt was being replaced. Gus couldnβt tell Gale that Walt was to be murdered. That just shows how relatively pure Gale was. Gus couldnβt even use him as an enemy.
Is it just me, or is "Todd" a reference to Gale Boetticher from Breaking Bad?
At 3:33, Pierce says "You're also, quite frankly, a very weird looking man. I don't know you, but I just don't trust you. And I don't think I could grow to like you. The point of what I'm trying to tell you, Todd, is that I don't want to be your lab partner"
The quote above could be a reference to the scene where Walter kicks Gale out of the lab, and instead chooses to cook with his friend, Jesse.
Todd also looks significantly like Gale. (ref: https://imgur.com/a/cIm3FzF )
Later in the episode, Jeff says to "deal with this Todd problem once and for all", which could be a reference to when Walter and Jesse deal with Gale once and for all.
One last reference that I found (could be a long reach), was Todd saying "Your love is weird [...] it destroys everything it touches", which could be a reference to Walt and Jesse destroying almost everything they touch.
It should also be noted that earlier in the episode (at 3:23) Breaking Bad is brought up, potentially to prime viewers to see that there will be more references throughout the episode.
Maybe I'm just as nerdy as his character, but after rewatching season 4, and right now the season finale... we're gonna get Gale's story! He wasn't around very long and he was a bit two dimensional, but that just means he's clay for Vince Gillian and Peter Gould to mold into someone real. I'm excited. TBH.
Edit: I'm not so much excited for Gale specifically, but knowing what the creators have done for other character backstory, I'm realizing this is a potential gold mine.
Anyone think that we will see the return of Gale Boetticher this season? I truly hope so he was such an interesting character on Breaking Bad and as far as I'm aware he worked with Gus before Gus had met Walt.
I can't stop thinking about how much impact Gale Boetticher had on the series. Though he had little screen time and was not prominently featured throughout many episodes, his gift to Walt is what led to Walt's eventual downfall. His name is also seen in the background of some episodes.
For cineasts and nerds: In 3x07 Gale says to Walt:"You know, this might be the beginning of a beautiful friendship."
I think this refers to the final scene of 1942's Casablanca. The last sentence of this monumental movie was "Louis, this looks like the beginning of of a beautiful friendship."

I recently read a review of the first three episodes, and one of the two reviewers, discussing what they had reviewed (AMC had released the first three episodes for review) made a very interesting statement, to the effect that episode 3 featured "space age coffee".
This reminded me immediately of Gale's Rube Goldberg style coffee maker contraption in S3 that Walt said made the best coffee he ever drunk.
What else could it mean? The lady who wrote the review is a regular BCS viewer, but claims she had only watched four episodes of Breaking Bad, and wasn't a BB fan. I took it that she probably didn't realize she was revealing a potential spoiler.
Unfortunately, at the time I didn't think to copy a link from the article, nor do I remember the name of the site it was on.
I fucking love Gale. Aside from him just being a really likeable character, I love how he's sort of like a mirror image of Walt: where Walt boasts about the purity of his product, Gale is humble about his abilities while talking to Gus. Where Walt constantly competes with other characters for the role of teacher, Gale is content to be Walt's student.
So anyway, I want to get some kind of Gale themed tattoo. Any ideas?
EDIT: Jeez, why all the hate? I work in TV, this show has been a huge part of my life, and I already have multiple tattoos. I don't think it's weird to want a tattoo commemorating something that's really important to you.
Mostly because I want to hear about how he learned/practiced "Crapa Paleda".
Mr. Costabile walked into my place of work today and requested some assistance, I helped him out trying my absolute best not to ask for a selfie or let on that I instantly recognized him. I only tipped him off at the end as he was leaving when I told him I was a huge fan.
He was an absolute pleasure to chat with, 100% nice calm down to earth guy. 10/10 would meet again.
writing notes to walter white, giving poem books with inscriptions, leaving top secret meth lab plans around in his house, what the actual fuck?
gus fring would never have anything meth connected in his house, same goes for WW, but this guy... how the hell did gus fring pass his security clearance, for being a very careful man, he really got sloppy with his employees.
We all know that Mike ends up working for Gus before Walter started cooking, and seemly this work relationship starts sometime this season, given Gus's listing as a major character. Since Gale cooked before Walt, wouldn't he have to make an appearance? Just my thoughts, who knows.
I was watching the trailer for this upcoming Motley Crue movie and noticed someone very familiar at the 1 minute 22 second mark:
