So these people been in the same gang with each other for 5+ years. They grew up together, shot and robbed people together, and hung out pretty much every day. Each and every one of them has narrowly escaped being a homicide victim multiple times. They love each other like family.
Then they discover a depressed skater church choir kid from the suburbs, figure out "hey this dude is pretty great at what he does" and sign him to their label. He has multiple songs about having no friends/love, being addicted to drugs, and struggling with suicidal thoughts. He also confessed that he sold his soul to the Devil in multiple songs. Very evidently this skater kid is a "fake gangster" despite rapping about robbing and shooting people. They help him quit Xanax and get addicted to Percocets, which you can overdose from 50x easier than Xans.
Then, he blows up and starts making the label/gang millions of $. The gang starts letting him throw their signs since he's making them so much money. He's basically the face of the label now so they start to embrace his role/schtick. Record videos of themselves handing him a handful of pills with the caption calling him a "real junkie" (something he frequently calls himself in his music). Starts making him go to rehab for a little bit then immediately get hooked back on drugs after leaving.
Eventually, hanging around real gang members really gets to his head. He starts moving pounds, smuggling guns, and possibly shooting at enemy gang members ("tattoos on my body I need tears by my eyes"). Calls them his "brothers" even though he just met them only 2 years earlier. This continues for about a year or less until he unfortunately overdoses on... Percocets.
Does all that seem a little weird to you? His "brothers" didn't really give a shit about him. They didn't feel the same way about him like they did towards their real gang members. They lived a fundamentally different reality then him. Real brothers, friends, gang members, whatever the fuck you wanna call it, wouldn't hand their friends a handful of life deteriorating pills. They used him as a cash cow/sacrifice, because they knew he was gonna die anyway, especially since he never received the support and love he really deserved. There's no way they couldn't have known he was going overdose. He rapped and sung about it all the time. Juice was just too naive and sensitive to see he
