This was originally posted in F1 news. It got me thinking about PLUG's relationship with Renault (one of the F1 engine producers) and what this could mean for PLUG. Sounds like there could be a huge leadership position for Renault and PLUG purely based on market position and production capacity. I find this particularly interesting because F1 is well known to act as R&D for car manufactures and have significant impacts on the future development of commercial vehicle technology. I'm wondering if this is a catalyst for hydrogen technology and a future investment and development of the sector.
I could be reading into this but thought I would post for some discussion of smarter people than I.

FIFA is the world governing body of all matters related to association football (soccer) and is based in Zürich, Switzerland. It was founded in 1904 and has presided over every World Cup since.

Towards the end of PvE Revision 13, some of us starting talking about how neat it would be to have a tourney for archery PvP, similar to FISA for spleef. So I've put a little work in, and I think we should take a stab!
I've knocked together a few rules. I've tried not to be in any way comprehensive with them. The way I see FIPA - in the beginning, at least - is a simple framework within which people can build a wide variety of archery arena types and have people run around inside them shooting each other in the face. I haven't wanted to be unnecessarily restrictive; I'm aiming for things to develop to the minimum level of organization needed.
I've also, deliberately, not tied the idea of FIPA to cities: anyone can build arenas; anyone can form teams. Of course, if you want to do that yourself, go ahead!
In a fairly shameless grab for ultimate power, I've appointed myself secretary of FIPA until there's actually something going on and we can have elections'n'schizz.
So, let's begin!

Anyone interested in submitting an arena or archery team for our first season, please let me know by the end of Saturday by the end of Saturday, 25 October 2014! Remember: you don't need an arena to form a team, just have a quick mooch at the rules and get together!
As far as arenas go, so far I've built one for Ambrosia (check out the FIPA subreddit to see the screenshots!) and Vinhaven's built one too that I'm going to check out. If your want your own arena, build build build! :D
