Back in 5th grade, I made a pretty good joke. So good, almost the whole *(wheat bread) class laughed. Maybe even the whole **(sandwhich) class. So this kid dropped their lunchbox on thebfloor, and it was there for a while. So my teacher saw it on the floor and, as a joke, said: "If you don't pick this up, I'm going to step on it." I saw my chance, so I said: "Who doesn't like mashed potatoes?" She said: "You're lucky that was funny." She probably thought it was funny too. I don't think I would have gotten in trouble anyway.
The joke was that mashed potatoes are mashed, as what would have happened to the lunchbox.
