A list of puns related to "Funny Unpopular"
Thatβs it. Downvote away; I probably just need to work on my contentment βΊοΈ
Many people deal with some sort of mental issues/illness. How would it feel if people continually blasted you and made fun of you publicly for it? Wouldnβt it make things harder for you, if you knew this happened? Or maybe it makes things harder for others also dealing with these issues, to see all this toxic commentary?
Heather has some legitimate, serious issues. Yes, she opens herself up to the public when she posts about itβto an extent. But Iβm pretty sure sheβs so deep in her illness that sheβs not thinking clearly about this.
Can we just get a little compassion around here? This world can be shitty enough as it is, so why make it harder for each other?
ETA, since this keeps getting mentionedβnowhere am I saying constructive criticism is wrong, nor genuinely discussing said issues. Nowhere am I saying one is not responsible for their actions in some way. Itβs about making light of their illness. Itβs about making fun of someone for their issues, not the real discussions.
Iβll start:
My people will never be free until they let go of the shackles of lemon pepper wings! They are not that good!!
Matter of fact, we need to let go of the hold lemon pepper seasoning has on the black community as a whole. Free yourself from the shackles! There are better options for us π
when destiny just puts her in the background and sigma comments occasionally ("he's the worst and an abuser" steven "true") is just the funniest shit.
also that merl/murl however you write his name is also a great addition, I just feel his desperation and will to have sex with ana flowing every time he speaks.
and the occasional break from sobbing and complaining to say in a totally normal and cheerful voice "thanks for the sub" or something like that.
everything is just so hilarious to me. so what do you guys think about that?
I am aware that I am gonna get dirty virtual glares. But I just can't pretend. He is said to be one of the largest and most famous stand-up comedians in India, and I feel like he doesn't deserve it. None of his jokes land, the audience laughs at the most random of sentences, and there's no way he is eligible to judge shows like comicstaan. I am a stand-up comedy enthusiast and when my friends and I have a chat on this topic, his name always comes up, and I'm tired of pretending he's funny. If you have different views, please express them.
Cobra tate says himself that he uses exaggeration and hyperbolic statements to get his message across, and that mf is funnier than almost any C level comedian that has ever come on to the show, and not only because he is a guy doing a character- the dude has comedic timing.
Thatβs really it. To me they fall under the troll outfits like being a rat or whatever in sunset, and I donβt see what is funny about them. They use to be funny if anything, like I would rarely see them 1-2 years ago, but now theyβre so common to see.
Plus, for me at least, they harass a lot of people to βbe the character.β Itβs like the grandma/grandpa rp is a way to harass random players, which I donβt agree with. Players will find them hilarious, which is probably what made them become popular to dress up as nowadays and troll- since it gave attention.
These characters usually win sunset (again, thatβs why I consider it a troll outfit), even if they βareβ the theme- players will vote them anyway since βtheyβre a funny character.β
Obviously a grandma or grandpa wouldnβt play RH or roblox, which may be why people find it funny I guess? At least one reason it seems to be funny? But I just donβt buy how itβs humorous- from my perspective itβs annoying and immature, and a excuse to troll/harass people. Some grandparent characters are fine, but I almost never find a grandparent character who isnβt annoying/harassing. Itβs the same grandma/grandparent over and over again too.
I do find Ted annoying at times, especially when Rebecca is trying to have a serious conversation with him and he tries to make a joke out of it (e.g. meeting with the Milk sisters, Keely getting an award for Woman of the year or something).
I don't know, I am the one to laugh easily at things that are funny, but honestly when Cathy does something funny, she just doesn't make me laugh. Jill was easily more funnier than her. In fact I found her cringe. Like when Christi had a fight with Melissa in season 1, and at the end when she said "How did I get stuck in this" and just didn't laugh at all. Plus I believe she might be a racist, I could be wrong.
Kevin's part looked the most natural while Nick's part was the best presented one out of the brothers but Joe's part seemed pretty mean to me. Or maybe he just didn't deliver it well because he doesn't seem like the kind of person who would speak such things.
I have another theory that the brothers knew each other's lines pretty well so they had least to zero reaction to each other's roasts. Or perhaps they still have some issues they need to air out.
Also, is it just me or do Kevin and Nick seem closer now than Nick and Joe. I am not sure if there is an undercurrent of discomfort or lingering resentment in Nick and Joe's relationship.
Other than that, I LOVED the roast and I love the brothers and Netflix for giving us such content. Hoping for more! They were amazing sports!

Having posts like that and making this sub a combination of AME and 2ME4U will create a unique environment and give the sub greater vitality. Thoughts?
The show has very immature comedy. Jokes/Comedy on weight/farts/burps or a man dressing up as woman is not at all funny. It's not clean comedy.
I don't know if there is actually any ongoing "comedy" serial which is actually funny. Same goes for many movies of comedy genre.
Like before, serials like Khichdi had such a good comedy which is also funny today. It was satirical and had clean comedy. It actually was funny and the comedy was many times subtle making it better. It's also good that Khichdi didn't unnecessarily extend like TMKOC. (I am currently watching all the episodes from the start.)
I feel like quality of comedy has declined in serials and movies.
What are your thoughts?
Some people pretend like Frenemies was terrible. I know before it blew up in our faces, most people thought it was the best H3 podcast content ever.
That means, creepy orks, unsettling orks, that arenΒ΄t a parody of human hooligans; technologically advanced orks which can be scientifically advanced in other ways that "bigger is smarter" and actually understand how do their ships function; that interact with each other in some ways other than "bigger is better" and have actual politics and economy that derives in different cultures across the Galaxy (some planets primitive, others feudal, trade fleets, planets where orks are overlords, some where they are slaves to humans or other). I liked the artistical advanced orks of I am Slaughter, by Dan Abnett:
" They were armoured in metals and hides, but the armour was nothing like as crude as he had imagined it would be. Hauberks and shoulder guards were expertly woven from steel wire and reinforced animal skin or synthetic fibre fabrics. Seams were precise. The level of ornamentation was marvellous. Shields were studded and curved for impact resilience, and some of them smoked with heat and ozone, revealing they were self-powered with built-in kinetic fields. The weapons, clamped in prodigious fists, were the immense, burnished cleavers and swords of frost giants, not the crude blades of ogres. The huge-calibre firearms were of eccentric design yet superb craftsmanship.
The orks had dyed and painted their green flesh with powders and inks, making intricate tribal designs and motif"
Also the more serious orks of Tony Hough, from the first Rogue Trader. This sci-fi monsters, with advanced equipment and an industrial look:

With human advisors in their courts:http://www.gwart.co.uk/images/a/a1/Ork_Court.jpg
And warlords that can be bloated, gnarled and old:http://www.gwart.co.uk/images/0/00/Wardog_Kulo.jpg
So, the familiar disclaimer: I donΒ΄t want to cause a discussion or be a critic to the lore-friendly orks and IΒ΄m not saying my take is better. Just posting to know if there are others who feel that way.
Edit: Some of you guys have said that orks are not funny from the perspective of their victims, which is true, but the thing is that even then, when we have depictions of their society, they are comedy. Now, parody is part of WH40k, but other factions, as Chaos or the Imperium, can be explored in a more serious way from their own perspective, and the

Ross screaming βMY SANDWICH?β
Phoebe screaming βPICK UP THE SOCK.β
Yeah, I donβt find any of those funny.
I know everyone else seems to think theyβre hilarious moments, but personally I donβt even smile through it.
It just feels like the easiest form of comedy to me. Itβs like that guy Will Ferrellβ¦ heβs just really loud. Thatβs not my type of humour.
Iβm ready for downvotes because I know this is really unpopular.
While weβre at it, is there any type of humour that you guys donβt enjoy watching?
I love strolling through reddit and reading all the crazy shit people make up about crypto as a whole they have zero clue on, all the same bullshit FUD you hear day in day out, we're so far from main stream it's crazy.
If you ever think you're late, you really aren't, it's amazing how many people actually despise just us as people who enjoy or understand a bit about crypto.
I don't give a shit what crypto you're into, Blockchains are going to change the world.
It's not even clever and it's a really easy "joke". The difference in the amount of outrage compared to the humor is what is actually funny.
I never thought Joey was funny, not even a bit. From his impressions to his cartoon voices to his stand up routine, they were all corny and cringeworthy. I thought Danny was funnier. ("Your woman is everywhere.") When John played Cousin Stavros, he was hilarious. Both were naturally funnier than Joey.
Now he got better with his humor in the last two books most but in the first two seasons it really felt kind of forced hate to say it but it's like wu's humor in book 1 the only difference is that Bolin wasn't the center of the plot in book . Where it felt like he saying funny things out of the blue. In book 1 and 2 I wasn't really laughing that much.
Don't get me wrong he's not annoying but just not funny. But like I said he got better in the later seasons
I got perma banned on the unpopular opinion subreddit for saying that dating is overrated...
If youβd like to try and change my mind, leave a comment on the one thing she did that made you hate her

I actually find goku being stupid in DBS funny. Espically his interactions to an angry vegeta. Reminds me of that time in DBZ when goku offered bulma to the elder kai without asking vegeta.
I know many dislike it but I think goku's naivety/ignorance were always great points for humor in OG dragonball and it's a welcome return for me.
Hera Pheri is a movie which makes me laugh every time I watch. But Phir Hera Pheri is not rewatchable for me. It has more of slapstick comedy and is very childish, especially the end scenes. It is still far far far better than "comedy" films like Housefull 3 and 4 or Golmaal 3 and 4 but not at all as good as Hera Pheri or Dhamaal or 3 Idiots.
Not because itβs literally not funny. It is. It WAS. It was an early season joke that was used a few times and it has been retired. It had its moments but they have long passed.
Sal has said in interviews that he hates it. Even the other Jokers know when a joke has become stale and borderline disrespectful. Sal told them not to use it anymore and they respected his wishes. Thatβs why you havenβt seen it on the show in 7+ years?
I wish more fans would have some class and realize that continuing to bring up this picture is just disrespectful. Some fans will STILL post it to him on Twitter and such. Have some self-awareness people.
There are many jokes on the show that are used sparingly these days (Larry, nosing, Rosie OβDonnel, mustache, etc). This should be one of them.
No offense to anyone who still finds this joke funny. However to me it is passed its prime and it should be retired from current use.
EDIT: I can see the fan base is hugely split on this! A lot of upvotes and downvotes based on whether you still like the joke or not. My opinion was more based on the fact that Sal himself has asked not to use the photo anymore. So I think we should all as a fan base respect his wishes. However itβs just a joke and really not that big of a deal so if you still want to use it, go for it!
and they make me want to skip the whole segment (which I generally do)
does anybody else feel the same?
