A list of puns related to "Funny Sister"
94% of them replied “Get out of my shower!”
I replied, no, I don't hate your relatives. In fact, I like your mother-in-law a lot better than I like mine.
An assassin
.
Edit: thank you guys so much for the rewards! I was told this joke from my 9 year old sister, she was well chuffed to see all the votes and people thinking she was funny
A solid 10, but also imaginary
So my brother is super hard to buy for because my mom buys him EVERYTHING, literally. This kid has every toy, game console, video game, movie, funko pop, t-shirt, etc to ever exist. My sister and I decided to buy him chips for Christmas. I got jalapeno cheddar cheetos, a few snack bags of spicy chips, and a can of pringles. I'm going to wrap them individually and put them in a stocking. I would like to add a card with a pun or joke about chips to at least make this (admittedly low effort) gift funny.
My Little Sister: No! What happened?!
Dad: Dont worry, he woke up.
My Little Sister: ROLLS EYES
Me: Hahahahahaha! Nice.
My Little Sister: Omg! Is this funny?
Dad: No, THIS IS PATRICK! (We all really love SpongeBob SquarePants)
I GET UP TO GIVE MY DAD A HIGH FIVE AND HIS PHONE RINGS AS SOON AS I GET UP. IT'S MY MOM CALLING HIM FROM THE KITCHEN
Mom: Hi, I was wondering if I had the right number. Is this funny?
Dad: No! THIS IS PATRICK!
My Little Sister: Really?! You too Mom?!
Mom: No, I'm 49 sweetie.
My Little Sister: Nevermind! I'm watching, "Black Mirror," in my room by myself.
Dad: Sweetie, African American, don't just call them Black. That's not nice.
My Little Sister: ............. I hate you all.
I know this isn't necessarily a,"Dad Joke." It's more of a conversation my Dad and Little Sister had. But it was seriously one of the funniest moments I've ever seen.
I really love my family. Lol
My sister is in the emergency room with second degree burns on her foot from cooking oil, I need puns to make fun of her at thanksgiving.
Be merciless.
Edit: it was great, you're puns were big hits. After each pun I said your username without context, but at the end of dinner someone asked me if I was going insane and I said "no, those are the pun credits" so, in some of your cases it was pretty funny to say out of context.
Thank you all for your entries, they were great!
I have a scrawny, little, younger sister and we always have a seafood buffet for Christmas dinner.
Sister: "Hey, dad can you pass me the shrimp and I want some mussels too please?"
Dad: "Here's the shrimp, for mussels you're gonna have to go to a gym and do some exercising" [continues eating his food without ever passing the mussels]
Sister: "Hey, dad....."
Pops: "Hay is for horses, this is seafood."
This was especially funny due to the fact that he kept a poker face the entire time and never made eye contact with my sister, being completely serious and never cracking a smile. These exchanges happen at least 7X a day.
Sooooo... my oldest daughter curled her sister's hair this weekend... on the way home I started waving at her until she looked at me and asked me what I was doing... I told her that her hair was all wavy so I was waving back. She had the usual split second involuntary smile at the the corners of her mouth before she gave me a you-son-of-a-@#$%!-look ( http://imgur.com/D0UHimq )... because my kids refuse to acknowledge how funny I am... I laughed... and laughed...and I'm still laughing about it today...
Dad: Don't be sad, he lived a pretty swell life didn't he?
Sister: (in tears) shutup dad you're not funny
Dad: You just don't have a sense of tumor do you?
Took a while before my sister calmed down after that, while my dad laughed his ass off.
So I had a great chain of old jokes today in my morning meeting.
I started with "I bought a violin from a one armed seller yesterday. He said he played it by ear".
As the meeting progressed, I realized I could chain additional jokes together. 10 minutes later I followed up with it, "That one armed violin seller... he has a sister named Katrina. She's missing a leg so she likes to call herself I-Lean". The room laughed and there were many people who said "that's kinda wrong".
Then I followed up with, "Well she's not as bad off as her dad. The dad's missing two legs. When he goes in the swimming pool, they call him Bob."
And then I finished with, "But he still likes to water ski. When he does, they call him Skip".
It's funny because it all chains together.
When I was in 2nd or third grade and my sister was in kindergarten, we asked my dad why he didn't work anymore, he had retired earlier that year. He convinced us he had invented the question mark and every time someone read one, he got ten cents. It was funny, until my sister's teacher mentioned she was honored to meet such an important inventor at the parent teach conference. Then it was hilarious.
And my older sister and I find it fairly funny. I'm chuckling to myself and my little sister says
>What are you laughing at?
I, in a stroke of genius, respond with
>Nothing. Not a shingle thing.
Me and my older sister laughed, my little sister just looked at me like I'm stupid.
I hope this is worthy of being called a Dad Joke.
My sister is a teacher at a private high school for kids with learning and behavior difficulties. She just texted me for help with a funny slogan about spreading cheer and kicking ass.
Basically, each student "adopted" a teacher and they're going to do some sort of obstacle course. They're Santa's helpers, and have hats, shirts, and swords. She just came up with this idea at the last minute and would like help thinking of a punny tagline.
Any ideas?
Sister: "Hey Dad, can I please have a horse for my birthday?"
Dad: "Sorry honey, don't have anywhere to put it."
Sister: Starts Crying "This is unfair, I never get what I want."
Dad: "C'mon now sweetheart, why the long-face?"
Sister: "STOP DAD! THAT'S NOT FUNNY!!"
Dad: "Ok..ok..we'll get one. I'll go see if we can store it at the Neiigghhghbors house"
Dad proceeds to burst out laughing
Background Info: We are grabbing the presents from around the house that we hid from my sister-in-law's kids, when I pulled off a funny dad joke (to me it was funny)
Sis: Wait, where is the Frozen DVD you bought?
Me(Dad): I put it Elsa-where.
She didn't even laugh, she just stared at me and waited for me to leave.
A pig fell in the mud. 🐖😑
Also, when we were little and my sister (I'm 29/f, she's 2 years my junior) would cry and scream and beg about not getting what she want, my dad would always ask her "Who built the ark?" That shit always pissed her off and me too sometimes but it's def funny now.
One more from him .. when we go out to eat he always tries to hand us a straw but it's really just the wrapper he made to look like there was one still in there.
Okay lets be clear this is more of a Mom joke, but it is a Dad joke of a Mom. Now that's out of the way I was over at my friend's house, his parents are pretty funny and this joke is about his parent and not mine own.
So my friend has a four year old sister and she was mad because she couldn't have soda, so she threw a four year old fit. Her dad comes up to her and tells her she can have a cup of water. She starts crying and yells "I am going to my Womb", as four year olds can't pronounce Rs. Her Mother appears from her room and screams "Hey once you're out, you're out. There is no coming back in" The Dad who was doing his poker face breaks and starts crying laughing, so does everyone else but the daughter who just looks confused. After a few seconds we calm down and she says it again and storms off, as we chuckle.
My sister was complaining that all she could buy for underwear was ugly ones because she has wide hips even though the rest of her is skinny. I wasn't really paying attention and said "aw yeah..that's a bummer."
She looked at me like "oh haha very funny." I was confused for a half a second until I thought about what I had just said.
While talking about a new dog her roommate adopted this week.
Me: "What kind of dog is she?"
Sister: "She's a boxer." Me: "Oh cool, does she wear gloves?"
Sister: "Uhg, you are so funny."
She did a good job poker facing the tornado of laughter inside of her
I came home and made breakfast for my dad and sister. I tried a new egg recipe that I found. I asked them how they like it and he said, "They taste like s'mores." My sister and I looked at him funny and he said, "Like I want some more of them!"
My sister and I were next in line for Space Mountain. Unfortunately, after around 30 minutes of waiting, the crew in charge announced that they are going to go under maintenance. Some Russian kid behind us (around 10 years old) screamed, "MOTHERFOOKER!!!!!" My sister thought it was really funny so she told my dad the story, but used motherf-er instead. She then asked, "Wait, you know what motherf-er is, right?" to which my dad replied, "Yeah. She's the wife of fatherf-er."
It's tradition to watch A Christmas Story at least like nine times on Christmas in my family. There's a part where Ralphie stares into the camera and smiles after getting away with lying to his mother. Trying to be funny, I said "What the hell's he lookin at!?"
My sister answers with "The camera! It's like in The Office."
Me: "You know, I could never get into The Office."
Dad: "You should find the key, then."
Merry dadmas!
Setting the stage here. I am 21. My sister is 3 years old, she calls me "Bubba." After eating entirely too much at the restaurant, we climb into the car.
Mom: I am miserable.
Me: turn around, hand out Hi miserable, I'm 2fat2bebatman!
Mom: gives a "really?" look You might think you're funny, but you aren't.
Sister: without missing a beat of course he's not "Funny," he's "Bubba."
Dad: Wheezy laugh
Bless my little sister.
I told my sister that I could pick her up from dinner, and I made a funny out of her typo:
http://imgur.com/oYUtLJf
I don't know why I apologized.
So my sister was on the phone with her friend talking about someone new she met.
Sister: "Honestly, to be honest, I..."
Dad: "That was redundant. Not gonna lie."
To tell the truth though, the joke was pretty funny.
So I Have never been close to my dad because he is old school. You know, republican, really catholic, really fit, clean hair cut, big sports fan, etc. He can be funny but really only shows his fun side with the little kids in the family or his brothers.
Well my little sister is incharge or answering the house phone and when she was younger this happened a lot:
Sister: hello?(pause) hangs up phone Dad: who was it? Sister: nobody Dad: oh, i told him to stop calling. Well what did Nobody want? Sister: What ? Dad: you said Nobody called, i asked what he wanted. Sister: Nooooo, nobody called Dad: i know he called, what did he want
This would go on for a while
When my sister and I were kids and sat in the back seat of a car, we would occasionally feel thumps and bumps from stuff in the trunk during turns. When we asked what it was, Dad would nonchalantly say "Oh, those are just the dead bodies I forgot to hide. Thanks for reminding me." We thought it was funny.
My sister: Dad look, They heart their dachshund!
Dad: At least they don't club 'em.
He's the funny man around town.
We were riding in the car on our way to Atlantic City, New Jersey. Things were surprisingly calm for my family of five. Kids in the back, parents up front. Randomly, my sister asks my brother if he still has Lyme disease. He caught it two summers ago when we lived in an area with many ticks. My brother replies, "no, not anymore". Then my dad turns to face us from the passenger seat: "Yeah, it turned into Lemon disease". I chuckled because I immediately was reminded of this subreddit but my brother wasn't as amused. "Not even a little fucking funny".
Me and my family went to get our Christmas tree on saturday. It was me (17), my sister (21), my father(49) and my mother(47). We're all trying to find the perfect tree when my sister finds a tree with mushrooms around it.
Sister: "Look! I found mushrooms around this tree!"
Me: "Well we can't get this one, it's infected with fungus."
Dad: "There's a fungus among us!"
Thank you for allowing me to share. I don't know why I found it so funny but he said it without missing a beat. Hope you enjoyed it.
