A list of puns related to "Funny Pool Table"
Does anyone have a list of bars with pool tables? Bonus points if they are in Cambridge/Somerville area. Still crushed about Flat Top Johnny's
I recently came up on a free pool table on offerup and couldn't pass the offer down. I quickly messaged the seller, asking to pick it up and they were okay with it! The table was in bad shape as it has been outside for a long time. The frame, was chipping with paint, the felt was in bad condition so I came up with the crazy idea of restoring it as it was free! Little did I know how much work it actually was. Here are the photos of the actual pool table when I went to go pick it up.

With the help of 3 of my friends and my father, we were able to disassemble it load it up into two trucks. The disassembly wasn't too hard but man was it heavy. I did underestimate how each piece of the pool table can really be, but being a broke and trying to save, it was so much better than spending the money to have some company or movers to do it.
With the help of YouTube videos, and tutorials I managed to put it all together again with assistance in moving the frame and slate panels, I did it all by myself. I chose a black frame and a wine red felt color. It took a long time to do but man am I proud of the work I did. I would never do this again, and if it were to be moved I am paying someone to do it. But as someone who rather do it themselves, I can say I am extremely proud of the work I did. Here are the photos of the process of moving it and putting it all together again with final product pictures.
For the process of building it back up and restoring it I ended up needing these tools and supplies:
-Behr Marquee Matte Black Paint -#80 d Grit sandpaper -Level measuring tool -A T50 staple gun -drill -ratchet set
To take it apart it was super easy, screws all around with a couple of hex cap screws around. Additionally with the slate panels, it was held in by screws in place. The most difficult part was transporting the heavy load. You ABSOLUTELY NEED at least 4 people to transport things safely and in an appropriate manner if you aren't a professional.
To being revitalizing it, I immediately got to work with the sand paper to remove the loose paint chips and remove some of the chipped wood. It was held outdoors and was in less than good or playable condition. After sanding all the visible surfaces, I applied a matte black paint to the frame and bumpers. I went with matte black as it is a very easy on the eye color and I

can we get a list going of bars in ALBANY that have pool tables?
Those of you with quarter operated pool tables, how are you handling people coming in without cash and requesting quarters to feed the table? Do you 'advance' them money and put it on their CCs? Some other method? What gives?
Thanks.
hello everyone, I see those tables all the time but still donβt know how they calculate those, does anyone know?
and does it really matter if the pool has pretty much all red/green arrows or itβs just a bad/good luck? (personally I am on the pool with almost all green arrows and everything is cool but still curious).

Hello!
Looking to purchase a UK Style 7ft Pool Table.
Has anyone got any advice on what to look for? (What makes a good table) and also good brands that you can't go wrong with?
One important thing I've seen repeated is making sure the playing surface is slate (I think I read 3/4in upwards is good? for a 7ft it should be one piece, Italian slate is one of the best).
Budget is up to Β£3K.
Thanks in advance for any tips/advice!

We recently moved into a new house and the previous owners left us a pool table. It's in great condition, but unfortunately the room it's in simply doesn't have enough space for us to play.
Since we inherited it as part of the house, we're willing to part with it for free, you simply have to move it yourself (or hire someone to do so). It's located in the basement with a single flight of stairs (no stairwell corners) and comes everything you need to play: chalk, billiard balls, triangle, multiple cues, and even a wall-mountable cue rack!
Goes to the first person who is able to pick it up, reach out with any questions or to set up a time to come see it.
Please Note: The slab for this table is slate. Moving it requires that you either have experience with slate or are willing to hire a professional mover (such as https://www.greatguysmoving.com/pool-table-moving/ [not an endorsement, just an example local mover]).

Pretty straightforward. I'm looking for places with coin operated Pool Tables. I'm located in Doraville. Closer to there the better, but I don't mind taking a decent drive. Seems like everytime I find a good spot...it eventually closes down on me. Bars or Pool halls are fine.
I don't like rushing my games so I'm not too keen on hourly Tables.
Thanks
