As shown in any moment when a character is actually strong enough to make naruto struggle he always tells the weaker ones/kids to stay back or dip but vs momo he must have seen momo as so fodder that he sent his own child to finish bro off with a rasengan for the sentimental value or some crap lol. not to turn this into a kaguya vs momo debate but ain't no way that dude is even slightly more powerful than her. I just can't imagine naruto and Sasuke at mid-chakra casually clapping kaguya and then naruto giving boruto some chakra and saying go get her son while sitting back and calmly watching for the sake of a cool bonding experience.
Like,For Jiraiya,we have little to no idea how their encounter went and such but I highly doubt and don't think he used sage mode or even used any jutsu cause he didn't want to Hurt or Harm Naruto and he had to get the Seal on him to avoid hurting him and Trying to Surpress/hold someone back Is much more of a challenge then trying to hurt or injure someone,so we can't really use that as proof as Jiraiya being weak cause we don't know the background or the context for it.
Now for Orochimaru,dude doesn't give a fuck about Naruto or his well-being at all and was clearly fighting to kill,or at least severely injure,Naruto. And the dude underestimated Naruto pretty big,which almost killed him.
Dude only called the fight playtime cause he knew he wouldn't die from his attacks but Orochimaru also couldn't injure or handle Naruto in that form,any time he used a snake jutsu or anything like that,it would get burned away and Naruto effortlessly slapped away his thousand snakes with swords, effortlessly destroyed his Shields he summoned,and even survived his sword through his stomach(which even Orochimaru was surprised that attack didn't hurt him).
Like,and his immortality jutsu requires chakra,so had the fight continued,he would've eventually died,so he had to retreat or else he'll be killed.
Plus,he even admitted those Shields he summoned saved his life from the Tailed beast bomb heading his way.
Sure, Orochimaru wasn't 100% during that fight but I highly doubt he would've had a jutsu or anything besides Edo Tensei that would've handled Naruto in that form.
Plus, ain't Orochimaru the same "Strongest Sannin"that got almost killed by a Teenager(Itachi Uchiha)before he even received his MS,to the point where Orochimaru even admitted itachi was stronger than him and that's why he had to leave and retreat the Akatsuki?
Just saying..
So again,we can't really compare those 2 based on that experience cause the context is completely different for both of them.
But now after this last chapter we know that Momoshiki is literally passing down his powers to Naruto's son

This isnβt a rant, just something I noticed. If youβve seen the manga or anime, think about the backstory of Itachi Uchiha. Anyone think Kishimoto drew inspiration for that from Asian family culture especially with how Asian parents try to control their kids?
You have the Uchiha clan thatβs all about pride and trying to convince their young that the Leaf is just out to discriminate against them which is the reason for the attempted coup. In the middle of the lead up to the Uchiha massacre you have that scene where Itachi has that epic scene where he says something along the lines of :
βThe clan. The clan. The clan. You concern yourselves over such trivial things. You overestimate your powers while being unaware of the depths of my own.β
Maybe Iβm looking into it too deeply, I just think there was some inspiration there maybe taken from personal life.

Reality is, the original Naruto always went all out. Needed to defeat someone? Throw a nuke. Keep doing it.
Adult naruto seems to have finesse, think of the Lava style rasenshuriken he threw. Yea, it wasn't a Tailed beast bomb, but it didn't need to be. He isn't nerfed, if anything, he is way stronger and smarter about his Chakra.
Think of Madara, sure, the guy went all out here and there. But, he was smart and conserved his Chakra for the appropriate situations. Shippuden Naruto had none of that.
