A list of puns related to "Funny Makeup"
Thereβs nothing wrong with it, but they definitely went for a glammed up more dramatic vibe all around after season one to keep viewers interested, which includes how the women look I think.
There's this hilarious video on YouTube about a girl acting as a make up artist giving a man a makeover. The makeover featured ridiculous things such as (iirc) overly huge eyelashes, oddly colored eye makeup and lipstick, etc. but both of them were playing it as if it were perfectly normal.
The girl speaks in those influencer-type lingo with phrases such as "on fleek" which was popular at the time so the video should be in the 201x range. The man doesn't speak much if at all.
The video was filmed in front of a single color background and it had some editing too with intentionally awkward zoom-ins when the actors were making reaction faces. The background music is generic upbeat royalty-free music which you can hear in most serious YouTube makeup videos.
I'm 98% sure its not from a big name comedy channel like collegehumor or buzzfeed or snl and the actors are not particularly famous. The video isn't long, around 2-3 minutes.
The girl acting as the makeup artist had dark hair which was long and straight. The man getting the makeover was a black man who was quite skinny. These were the only 2 people throughout the entire video. The man sat on a high wooden stool (on the right) and the girl was standing doing the makeup on him (on the left).
A phrase which I remember clearly was the girl saying, with that influencer accent, "now we're gonna finish this lllloook with a llllip" with an emphasis on the L.
That's about as much as I can remember.
Thank you everyone for your help :)
It was so absurdly funny that Craig got his own concept wrong, and that all the judges were being Yes-men and going along with his error.
Endorphin doesn't make you positive, creative and "ready to take on anything". It's actually the opposite, it literally relaxes. It's functionally similar to morphine, in that it makes you "happy" by numbing down the brain and the body.
I think he maybe meant dopamine, or maybe even serotonin?
Obviously, it's not a big deal. If only Craig had made the honest mistake, then it's fine, it's not even worth bringing up. But the fact that all the judges were basically like "Ah, yes, we too know about endorphin" was hilarious to me. It made the whole room look kind of dumb.
I woke up to my granddad calling me from the drugstore asking where they keep the "skin coating" my grandma uses and the "glue but the powder one". Took a me a few minutes to realize he meant foundation and setting powder lmao.
Another one:
I'm driving over for dinner at my boyfriend's parents house, and I get a call from him.
Le Boyfriend: Babe, can you stop at Shoppers please? Mom's asking if you can pick up her prescription, and some sandpaper?
Me: Sure, but sandpaper? At Shoppers? Are you sure? I don't think Shoppers would have that"
Le Boyfriend: "Oh not the regular one, they have one for the face that you girl------"
His Mom Yelling: "----THE IDIOT MEANS BLOTTING PAPER"
Me: LMAO *disbelief*
I seriously don't understand how my brilliant, brainy boyfriend went from blotting to sandpaper :/
Share yours, if you have any! :)
Just a little thought I had while watching Nin's most recent video.
