On a recent flight, there was a well groomed "older" (by flight attendant standards) steward working my flight. Whenever he came by, I got a whiff of him, and I told my wife "I think that guy is wearing Aventus." She's not into fragrances like me, so she just rolled her eyes, probably anticipating what might happen next. Naturally, I asked him if he was wearing Aventus, and I got such a funny response. He said, "yes...is that how you pronounce it? I never knew how to pronounce it." I was tickled by the idea of someone buying something (or getting a gift) as nice as Aventus and not knowing how to pronounce it.
Me: You mean I'm a door-able haha
Flight attendant: ok I'm gonna move you
