A list of puns related to "Funny Drumline"
they're hill areas
It's been an exhausting and thrilling evening. There's just enough time left at the stroke of midnight to share with you all the feeling from the Hugo Awards tonight at the Washington DC DisCon. We had a large group watching live on the terrace just outside the main hall. We're all new and aspiring SciFi writers, and it was a thrill to be here to celebrate our fellow artists. Some of our reactions from tonight's winners:
There were too many additional awards tonight to list, but the mood was jubilant and everyone seemed ready to celebrate our art in the face of the never-ending pandemic. It's also notable that Tor.com continues to lead the industry with their authors, and executive editor Lee Harris continues to show his mastery of the craft and domain.
It was a very fun evening, despite delays from an electrical fire in the ballroom several hours earlier. But all went well, and a special shout out to the drumline that performed on stage to kick off the ceremony.
Cheers from Discon III!
I don't want to step on anybody's toes here, but the amount of non-dad jokes here in this subreddit really annoys me. First of all, dad jokes CAN be NSFW, it clearly says so in the sub rules. Secondly, it doesn't automatically make it a dad joke if it's from a conversation between you and your child. Most importantly, the jokes that your CHILDREN tell YOU are not dad jokes. The point of a dad joke is that it's so cheesy only a dad who's trying to be funny would make such a joke. That's it. They are stupid plays on words, lame puns and so on. There has to be a clever pun or wordplay for it to be considered a dad joke.
Again, to all the fellow dads, I apologise if I'm sounding too harsh. But I just needed to get it off my chest.
Do your worst!
This is a reboot of a series of DWR (Doctor Who Reviews) I posted from May 2019 to October 2019, also including episodes during Series 12βs air-date. While I previously rated all 166 episodes as βhow good they are at being Doctor Whoβ, I will now be rating them as βhow good they are as TVβ.
One of the best works of fiction I have ever seen/read throughout my long 22 years on this Earth is undoubtedly the Netflix original Dark; a passion project created by Baron Bo Odar and Jantje Friese. I shan't spoil Dark - at all (please do go watch it if you're a Doctor Who fan) - but just know that the themes and story beats it touches on in 2017, which impressed me enough on my first watch, are touched on by Blink a whole decade earlier, and in the same deft and brilliant way Moffat always writes. Blink, for many reasons, is one of the most prevailing, impressive, and unique episodes of all 58+ years of the show. It is a tremendous achievement, and allegedly quite a rushed script Moffat pulled together at the last second; to have this as your "last minute submission" to an exam? Crikey. We're dealing with some serious talent here, I hope this guy Moffat isn't just a fluke.
But yeah, that's Blink. Do I need to review it? It's one of the most popular episodes of the show, and as testament to that, I'm doing this current rewatch with my girlfriend (it's her first time) and she now has Blink ranked at #1. That must mean something, considering The Doctor and Martha are conspicuously absent from large swathes of the runtime, replaced instead by movie-star Carey Mulligan in her role as the pretentious yet likeable Sally Sparrow. And I do believe Moffat has written her to be a piss-take towards Tumblr and such; the bane of Moffat's writing career, some say. One of her first lines is; "I like sad, it's happy for deep people" which seems clever when you're 11 years old but double that and you've got yourself some fine comedy. Even if this line is unintentionally funny, and Moffat really was trying to be faux-deep like he so often is, then whatever, it doesn't detract from this episode. Because the rest of the episode is made up of so many ingenious sequences;
For context I'm a Refuse Driver (Garbage man) & today I was on food waste. After I'd tipped I was checking the wagon for any defects when I spotted a lone pea balanced on the lifts.
I said "hey look, an escaPEA"
No one near me but it didn't half make me laugh for a good hour or so!
Edit: I can't believe how much this has blown up. Thank you everyone I've had a blast reading through the replies π

Nothing, he was gladiator.
Dad jokes are supposed to be jokes you can tell a kid and they will understand it and find it funny.
This sub is mostly just NSFW puns now.
If it needs a NSFW tag it's not a dad joke. There should just be a NSFW puns subreddit for that.
Edit* I'm not replying any longer and turning off notifications but to all those that say "no one cares", there sure are a lot of you arguing about it. Maybe I'm wrong but you people don't need to be rude about it. If you really don't care, don't comment.
When I got home, they were still there.
What did 0 say to 8 ?
" Nice Belt "
So What did 3 say to 8 ?
" Hey, you two stop making out "
I won't be doing that today!

This morning, my 4 year old daughter.
Daughter: I'm hungry
Me: nerves building, smile widening
Me: Hi hungry, I'm dad.
She had no idea what was going on but I finally did it.
Thank you all for listening.
There hasn't been a post all year!
You take away their little brooms
It was about a weak back.
Why
Itβs pronounced βNoel.β
I originally had this idea for the meme. It just seems like itβs be really funny for Drumline to randomly break out into Old Town Road at a football game, but I think this turned out as more than just a meme. This thing actually sounds good, and a heck of a lot better than I thought it would be. Welp, hereβs Old Town Road on drums:
